Catch Up

Busy day! Jason had to work ALL day, again. Poor guy. I am really proud of him. I can't believe that we just started our paint company 6 months ago, and he is already booked for 2 years and painting a Parade of Homes house. Unbelievable. So the kids and I are trying to stay busy and happy without daddy. We got up today and did a little bit of last minute packing and cleaning. We get to move this weekend. YAY!! The people we bought our house from have finally finished building their new home and are now moving into it. 2 and a half months later we get to actually move into our home! We are so excited.
We went to Target to get some more bins and containers, and we found something we just could not resist. As we were walking into the store Avery starts yelling, "Puppy, Puppy." There was a guy selling 4 little puppies. So we walked over to see the puppies so Avery wouldn't freak out. Big Mistake!

Of course we fell in love with one. And of course mommy had to buy one!!

So yes, we got a dog. She is an Irish Setter, German short-hair mix. She is too cute. But she IS a puppy.

At first we were rather bored with her when we brought her home. She didn't do anything. Just slept. The kids even wanted a refund. I called my mom to see if this was normal behavior because I haven't had a puppy since...... I was a puppy, and I just remembered them being a bit of work, not sleeping on the floor all day.

My mom assured me she would snap out of it, and that she just missed her family.

Mom's are always right.

At about 11 o'clock at night she snapped out of it. I now remember why we haven't got a puppy yet. She is just like a baby. Jason was up until 3 in the morning with her, and then I had the 4 in the morning on shift. She cried if we weren't with her, she had to keep going outside to pee, she kept chewing on everything. Hence her name, Chewbecca. But, her face is just sooooo cute. I think she's a keeper. The kids are much happier with her now that she actually moves and such. Even though she does like to snip at their ankles.
Here she is, Chewbecca...............

In other happenings, Blaise lost his two upper teeth. He looks SO adorable! He also started soccer a few weeks ago, he LOVES it, and he is doing really well.

Well, next time I post, I will be in my new home. YAY!!!!

Awww, Chewbecca is so cute. Are her eyes green? She's adorable, how fun. I love Blaise's toothless grin. Jared said he looks like a hockey player missing all of those teeth. Well good luck with the move and the puppy!
