More from our vacation.

I know. Unless you were on the trip, you are probably bored of seeing the pics. But I promised y'all that was on the trip that I would post all the pics. It's taking awhile to do, sorry. Our lives got turned upside down on Wednesday, so I am slowly getting this done.

The above picture means the world to me. This bridge was a major part of my childhood. This is "grandpa's bridge!" When I grew up in California, we lived in a small town named Fallbrook, and to get anywhere from Fallbrook you had to drive on the freeway. This is the 15 going south, towards San Diego. So we would pass under the bridge A LOT. And everytime this is what we yelled, or heard - "There's Grandpa's Bridge!" It's a special bridge to our family. He was a bus driver for the Fallbrook school district, and he was the VERY FIRST person to drive over that bridge, with his bus. He loved telling that story, we loved hearing it, and I love that we get to drive under it everytime we go to San Diego for a vacation. It's a little reminder of him, and I still hear or yell "There's Grandpa's Bridge!"

Anyways, these pictures are from Saturday after we arrived in San Diego and then Sunday.

We met my Mom & Dad, and Hollie, Jared and Addi at the Hotel. Our room over looked the pool, so the kids could not wait to jump in, and of course, Grandma and Grandpa were there to cater to their every demand. So we all went swimming. What fun. After that we went out to dinner and shopping. What a great way to start our vacation!

Sunday we went to the San Diego Temple and walked the grounds. I love that Temple. I was lucky enough to help with the viewing for that Temple. I got to help escort people through the Temple before the dedication. It was such a neat experience. Then attending the Temple dedication is something I will never forget.

Then we went to La Jolla for lunch, then did a bit more shopping, then headed for Oceanside Harbor for the rest of the day. IT WAS A BLAST!! There was a bunch of us too, My Aunt Debbie, Uncle Fritz, Grandma, Aunt Josie, Sissy, my cousin Kris & Charity, and their two kids, Kaleb and Alice. Plus, Mom and Dad, Hollie and Jared and Addi, and then us. We all played in the sand, visited, boogie boarded, and had a bbq. I LOVED being all together.

So these are the pics from those two days. Here are a few of my favorites, and if you want to see the rest

Alice.

I will post about Monday at Sea World, and then the rest of our trip in the next day or so. We are still trying to get settled and figure out what path our life is going on now, so be patient!!
