-You wanted to be on Star Search.
-You remember what Micheal Jackson REALLY looks like.
-You wore a banana clip.
-You puff painted on your shirt, at least once.
-You owned a doll with "Xavier Roberts" signed on it's butt.
-You knew what Willis was "talkin" about.
-You knew the profound meaning of "Wax on, Wax off!"
-You watched Saved by the Bell and Full House for endless hours!
-You used the word "Sike."
-You ever crimped your hair.
-You ever wore neon fluorescent clothing, and thought it was cool.
-You could breakdance, or thought you could.
-You know who Max Headroom is.
-"Allright stop, collaborate and LISTEN, Ice is back with a brand new addition!" And you can keep on singing!!
-You can still rap the "fresh Prince of Bel Air" too!
-You were led to believe that in the year 2000, we'd all be living on the moon.
-Poltergeist FREAKED you out!
-You ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf.
-You wore biker shorts underneath a short skirt and felt stylish.
-You had a Swatch Watch.
-You spent hours trying to perfect the Care Bear Stare.

-You wanted to go to Kokomo, Aruba, Jamaica............
-You wore Jellies.
-You thought a singer having only one big hit was normal.
-You rolled your jeans and wore double socks.
-You have been warned of the dangers of Pop Rocks and Coke together.
-Lite Brite.
-You know how to make Friendship Bracelets.
-You used to roller skate like "Tootie."
-You wanted to be Alyssa Milano.
-You can hum the theme song to Super Mario Brother Nintendo Game.
-You used AquaNet hairspray.
-You borrowed your Dad's shiRts to wear over leggings with a black leather V-belt.
-Your bedtime stated when Dallas or Dynasty came on.
-You always wished Alf had fallen into your backyard.
-You still hum the theme song to 3's company.
-Friday nights were TGIF and Saturday mornings were REAL cartoons.
Oh, I could go on! Fun Stuff! What else makes us "a child from the 80's?"

You borrowed your dad's WHAT to wear over leggings??? That one threw me for a sec...too funny! This list is great. I remember almost all of those things, and we know my memory. =) Side ponytails remind me of the 80's (can't remember if that was on your list). I loved all of the songs and shows you brought up. Oh my gosh, Hollie! I did a spell-check, but apperently it doesn't have a "are you sure that is the word you want" or "I think you forgot a letter" check. THANKS!! I don't think ANYONE in the 80's borrowed THAT from their Dad and tied it up with a belt!.........well, at least not anyone I knew!!!!

Well seeing how I was only 5 at the oldest I only remeber a few of these things. But none the less very good blog to protray that time period
