Thankful
We had a yummy dinner here.
It was a little "off" though. . . it was our first Thanksgiving ALL by ourselves.
No friends, no family. Just us. It was nice though.
I went all out still, even though it was just us.
We deserve it!
This year we started the new tradition of our gratitude garland.
I loved it. I hope the kids started to realize just how blessed we are.
I know as an adult, I sometimes take for granted all that has been given me.
I am hoping that maybe I can help my kids to grow with a grateful heart.
I really think it makes all the difference in a person's attitude.
I want my children to be the adults that can see the bright side.
I really missed being around family for Thanksgiving.
They are what I am most grateful for.
But we did the next best thing.
We hung out, took some pictures, cuddled,
played some games, made some dinner, ate LOTS of food,
Avery and I watched the game . . .GO USC!!! (So sorry for your loss Jared!)
the boys watched Home Alone with daddy, looked at the ads, and just enjoyed the day.

Your table looks very YUMMY! I'm glad you guys had a good Thanksgiving. Yes, Jared was very upset with ASU, especially because he knew you'd be so happy! =)
YOUR BIRD LOOKS HUGE COMPARED TO OURS, HA, HA, HA,. OH WELL, HOW MUCH DID WE NEED FOR JUST TWO OF US? IT ALL LOOKS REALLY YUMMY!!! WE ARE THANKFUL YOUR FAMILY HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING. AS A FAMILY, WE REALLY ARE BLESSED.
