Giddy

I am Giddy that I have so much to be Giddy about!

* Blaise won his soccer game today. They are undefeated! This league is big time too! They start at 8, and by the time they are 12 they are traveling the country playing other big time leagues. I am so proud of him. Blaise made 2 goals today. I was jumping for GIDDY joy!

* My first Scouts pack meeting was on Thursday. I looked mighty fine in my cub scouts uniform. Hee Hee! The Scouting program makes me Giddy. Sometimes this world can get so
discouraging and I really feel like the boys in the Scouts program can really make a difference. They are taught from a very young age to live to the best of their ability's, to help other's, to do their duty for God and for Country, to be proud of who they are and where they come from, that it's about right and wrong, not always about what's fair. I seriously got teary eyed a few times. I probably looked like a big dork. Everything makes me teary eyed lately, but being there and being part of this organization was just touching. Even the uniforms!

* I am so Giddy to have life long friends. Even though my "life-long" friends have only been in my life for 10 years, they will forever be in my life. I love that Karlee called me this week to share with me some of her Giddy moments. Isn't that what life is about? And I love that my best friend Jamie and I were able to laugh and cry on the phone together this past week too. Isn't that what friendship is about? I miss my friends so much, and sometimes I wonder if I will make any like that here in Utah, but it's comforting to know that Jamie, Karlee, Chris, and Jen are just a phone call away!

* My heart is Giddy. I am so overwhelmed this week by the love of my Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the power of prayer.

* I am Giddy that today is December 1st. We woke up to a REAL snow storm. (those last pictures are NOTHING compared to what is outside now!) I love this time of year, mainly because of the charitable acts that people do in the name of the Season. I really want to keep this Spirit in my heart all year long. Wouldn't that make life so much better?

* I am Giddy that Jason went and got me Tasty's doughnuts this morning! MMMMmmmmm!

* I am Giddy that the kids and I played outside in the snow! It was so fun to see them all dressed up in their gear! I have pictures that I will post later! Blogger doesn't want to co-operate right now!
