Giddy

I haven't done a giddy list in way too long!!!

The color red makes me giddy. (I am ready for spring!)

Cupcakes make me giddy. We made "snowball" cupcakes.

The power went out last night, so we all bundled up around the fire and played lego's and sang songs and drank hot chocolate. I was so giddy when the power came back on . . . because the kids asked us to turn off all the lights so we could still be all together. Usually we are all doing our own things. Caiden playing cars, Blaise on the computer, me - cleaning, Jason on the phone with work and Ava watching tv. Without the power it forced us to just be together. It made me realize that we need to have "family blackouts" more often.

Went to Trolley Square. Got the new PB catalogs. That always makes me giddy. Took some cute pictures of the boys. I so wish I had more willing models to practice on, that place is a photographers dream!!!

I am giddy about texture!!! It's such a fun technique to add to these pictures.

I am giddy that I got to talk to so many old friends over the weekend.

I am giddy about this picture. It's of my favorite guy, looking out the window at his beloved snow!!! He LIVES for snow! Last week after a big storm he asked me to get all bundled up with him after we put the kids to bed and took me outside. He wanted to show me all the diamonds in the snow. I have NEVER seen them before. It was gorgeous. We tried to take pictures but it's hard to take pictures of snow in the pitch black. I am somewhat starting to understand his love for this cold, cold stuff. His precious snow.

I am giddy that Lost is on this week.

I am just plain giddy about this guy's mad skills, yo! He said "mom, can I help clean up the mess after I draw you a chimpanzee?" I said sure, and I was AMAZED at what he drew. This kid is only 8 years old people!!!

I am giddy that I am all caught up on laundry . . . .now to put it all away!

What makes you giddy today?

I am giddy when I read your giddy list. It makes me think of all the things that I get to enjoy in this world. And you're going to have to teach me how to do the texture thing, 'cuz that looks cool!

Love your giddy list! Love all the pictures! I agree that the snow is pretty, but there is NO way I would want to live in it. It was 70degrees here the other day and I'm loving it!

The texture pictures are AWESOME, good job! Love the picture of Caiden, he looks like a miniature James Dean. The snow diamonds are so pretty, I could kind of make some of them out. I've never seen that before, how cool. Blaise is so amazing to me, I can't believe the talent that kid has!

I love reading your blogs...you are sooo funny! I love "my kids" too! They are all so unique in their own way. I got to see snow diamonds Sunday night in Oregon. They are beautiful. I had never seen them before. I hope I can appreciate to live in the snow like Jason does, because next winter I am going to see my share of it! Heather, YOU MAKE ME GIDDY!
By the way, where's my cupcake? Chocolate and coconut are two of my very favorite things!
