Cut and Paste, .......Caiden style
We had to take Caiden to the Emergency Room last night.
He tripped and went head first into his bed frame.
We knew right away that he would need stitches.
The doctor looked at, gave him a topical pain reliever, and decided to glue it back together rather than have to stitch him up. Caiden was so relieved. The doc said he doesn't like stitching up kids faces when he can just glue it back up.
Caiden got a kick out of the fact that they were going to glue his head back together. He thought it was arts and crafts at the ER. He also loved that the doc said no baths for 5 days. He can't wait for school on Monday to show off his "broke head."
I'm glad this is all fun and games to him, because it's not for me.

Holy cow girlfriend!!!!! It's a dang good thing you can handle things the way you can, because I would have been in a looney bin by now. Is this what I have to look forward to with boys? Trips to the ER.........
I'm glad he didn't have to get stitches, that's good news.
He is so darn cute, but he scares me to death. That boy is a dare devil and a clutzy one at that...not a good combination! I hate to say it, but I fear this may not be your last trip to the ER with him. We'll keep our fingers crossed =)
OH OUR POOR CAIDSTER, WE ARE SORRY YOU GOT HURT, BUT THAT IS PRETTY COOL THAT THE DOC COULD JUST GLUE YOU BACK TOGETHER INSTEAD OF HAVING TO STITCH YOU UP. SEE GILGER WAS A TREND SETTER OVER 20 YRS. AGO, AND WE ALL JUST THOUGHT HE WAS NUTS!!! WE HEARD YOU WERE SUCH A BRAVE LITTLE GUY. ALL OUR LOVE TO YOU AND MOMMY. SOOOO, SORRY GUYS.

YOU KNOW, I MUST SAY THAT EVEN WITH A BIG OL' BUMP ON HIS HEAD AND A CUT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.
HE IS JUST THE CUTEST LITTLE GUY, I MEAN REALLY LOOK AT THAT FACE, HOW ADORABLE IS HE. HE IS JUST TO DARN CUTE!!!!!! LOVE THAT BOY.

oh my gosh, Heather. His face! He is the cutest thing I have ever seen! (beside my own boys, ya know) His expression is so sweet. You sound like you have the hang of the ER thing, huh? I used to freak when my boys hurt themselves or swollowed something or whatever, but now every scar is like a battle wound to show what a fun, crazy, rough boyhood they have had. I love boys!!
Thanks everyone, he is pretty cute, isn't he?
And YES, Holly, boys are scary with all of their adventures, but they are so worth it. I feel the same way about their battle wounds, as long as we can live to tell the tale....what an awesome tale it's gonna be! Boys Rule!
