Memories
This is a tag for all my real life peeps.
My friend Robin had this on her blog.
The Rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

One of my first experiences as a member of the Martin clan was to go out to dinner with my new hubby's cousin -YOU- and your hubby Jason. We went to Tony Roma's and you were preggo with Blaise. I'm pretty sure that was when Tony Roma's slogan was "A Place for Ribs" and we thought it was prettty funny that it wasn't the best place for ribs, just...a place.
What a fun blogging idea! I'm going to post this game too! =)
I remember when you were really little and lived next door to us..I was out video taping our new little of Samoyed puppies and you were next door getting in trouble for something..all throughout my video you can hear your mom next door scolding you! It is pretty funny. I'm sure it was the only time in you life you were in trouble, because you were such a little angel! You guys were always so well behaved and a real pleasure to be around!
Yes, most of our memories do involve food. I always feel bad that we don't contribute much. You usually do all the cooking. And you do a might fine job of it. Hopefully we can return the favor some day.
I have so many fun memories with you! I remember when we went to our first single adult dance in Las Vegas and we were both wearing church dresses ('cuz that's what you always had to wear to church dances as a youth) and we were the ONLY two in dresses. Everyone else was all casual. But we still looked cuter than everyone else and had fun regardless!

I HAVE 30 YRS. OF MEMORIES. ALL OF WHICH ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES. SO IT'S TOUGH TO JUST PICK ONE.
I LOVED HOW EVERY NIGHT FOR 1 1/2 YRS. AFTER YOU WERE BORN, WE SPENT TOGETHER. JUST YOU AND ME, AFTER DAD HAD LONG GONE TO BED. WE WOULD SNUGGLE, READ, OR SING QUIET LULLABIES, I WOULD HOLD YOUR TINY LITTLE HAND OR RUB YOUR BACK. I PRETTY MUCH HAD TO SLEEP IN YOUR ROOM WITH YOU, BECAUSE YOU HATED TO BE ALONE. SOMETIMES I WAS A BIT TIRED. MOSTLY THOUGH, I CHERRISHED THOSE MOMMY MOMENTS. THEN I WAS REPLACED BY YOUR LITTLE SISTER!
I REMEMBER TEASING YOU WITH YOUR BELOVED BINKY, WE WERE ALL IN THE CAR AND I GRABBED IT AND PRETENDED TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW. THEN YOU GRABBED IT AND REALLY THREW IT OUT THE WINDOW, YOU WERE SO LITTLE, YET SO PROUD THAT YOU TOO COULD TEASE. HOWEVER, THAT WAS THE ONLY ONE WE HAD WITH US, AND YOU CRIED ALL THE WAY HOME FOR YOUR BINKY. OH, DADS AND THE CRAZY THINGS WE DO.
OK, as your "Besty" I should have been the first one to respond to this, since we have 11 years of memories together (but give me this one on the whole "pregnancy late" thing! Anyways.......which one to go with?! hmmmmmm
There is always the classic Heather/Jamie being "escorts" at a Christmas party and having people ask us which strip club we came from....
Then, there is the Heather/Jamie with aliases for the night telling people we were a big ad exec and marine biologist from San Diego! hee hee
Then, there is the always classic Heather/Jamie-becoming-best- friends-after-dating-the-same-guy- and-realizing-that-we-DIDN'T-hate- each-other!
HEE HEE Now my favorite memories are our EVERY day conversations on IM and keeping each other motivated with whatever new endeavor we are working on!
LOVE LOVE LOVE you girl!!!!!
I'm SOOOOOOOOO glad you finally caught up to me with the big 3-0!!
As I said on Mom & Dad's blog, this is really hard to do with people you have a ton of memories with.
I remember after you first got married & moved away we would talk on the phone like friends, not just sisters. Then I spent that first Thanksgiving with you and we both cried like babies at the airport when I went back home. I don't think I ever thought I would miss you so much.
I also remember the time you, Nick & me went to the Stratosphere and on our way out of the parking garage you totally caught air and miraculously made a 90 degree turn mid-air to avoid hitting a block wall.
How can I forget the time you got your finger caught in a wipes container when Blaise was a newborn. He was colicky and had been screaming for hours so you were already upset. But then this happened and we thought we might have to take you to the emergency room because it was cutting off your circulation and we couldn't get it off. I know it was a stressful situation, but it still makes me giggle.
Last but not least, I remember the times you tricked me into giving you lessons on how to be clean just so you could tape record it and make fun of me. =)
