Bootiful

So things are slowly getting back to normal around here. The smell is gone, for the most part, I spent ALL last week washing every article of clothing we own trying to get the campfire smell out, and we are back to sleeping in our own rooms. Of course, now I'm sicker than a dog, and Avery has a staff infection on her poor face, but we are making it through. We are starting to get back to life before the fire, and that makes us all SO happy. Life is good.

Jason and decided last Saturday we needed a break, and we needed to do something spooktacular!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch. I seriously LOVE Pumpkin Patches. Maybe I'm a dork, but they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Oh-ya, the kids like them too.

We go to this same Patch every year. It has slides, hay rides, tractor rides, animals, PUMPKINS, corn mazes, YUMMY YUMMY kettle corn. It's just the right place to be!

This slide was dangerous. It was steep and fast.

This is a picture of Caidster right before he flipped forward and ended up tumbling down the slide. He's alright, so it's okay to bust a gut imagining it!!

This next picture CRACKS ME UP!!!! Avery was minding her own business, going down the slide, and then through the view finder of my camera I see terror in her face! SEE IT!! A snake crawled onto the slide and she was heading STRAIGHT FOR IT!! Hee Hee!

Big Brother Blaise saved the day!!

The kids loved shooting the paint balls. Blaise was on Target, he took it very seriously. Caiden......I don't think he got that he was supposed to hit things, and Avery held the trigger down and was Machine Gun Mary!!!Photobucket

Avery LOVED the smaller slides but was afraid of this slide,.......unless her big, brave Daddy went with her. I guess she saw what happened to Caiden. So Daddy saved the day and she squeeled/screamed the whole way down. They were so cute! I love my Man!

BOUNCY BOUNCY!!!

See Y'all, I WAS there!

See ya at the bottom of the slide!

That looks like so much fun. I need to borrow some kids so I can have an excuse to go to a pumpkin patch. I've never been to one before!

P.S. OK, BUSTED, I DID HAVE TO HOLD BACK A SNICKER WHILE VISIONS OF MY CAIDSTER TUMBLING DOWN THE SLIDE FILLED MY HEAD. ONLY, BECAUSE I KNEW HE WAS OK!

Blaise, you are my hero. I sure hope you're around whenever I come across gross creatures.

I'm sorry but I was laughing so hard at the picture of Caiden. We went to the same pumpkin patch so I know which slide you're talking about and it is a steep one. I could totally picture Caiden tumbling down. Hee, hee, I love that kid!
