I got an award!
Heather, a new blogging friend, has given me a Smile Award. I like smiles, I like the name Heather, and it's an award! Woo Hoo! Thanks Heather!!
I must admit though, I don't feel like I deserve this award, I have NOT been all smiles lately. I'm okay with the fact that our house caught fire, things happen, .....especially to us, ........especially this year! I am just honestly MAD that it happened right now! This is my favorite time of year. I love to cuddle and snuggle with the kids, do fun Halloween crafts, bake, create, and be homey and cozy, and it's hard to do all those things when you have no home!!! We should have a fully functioning home by Thanksgiving though, so that is something to look forward to. AND we MIGHT have power in the house by the weekend, so we can get in there and start sorting through things and start the cleaning and fixing process! So that is something to smile about!!
Now here are the rules for spreading the smiles to fellow bloggers:
Must display a cheerful attitude.
Must love one another.
Must make mistakes.
Must learn from others.
Must be a positive contributor to blog world.
Must love life.
Must love kids.
Rules when receiving the award:
The recipient must link back the the award’s creator. You must post these rules if you receive the award. You must chose 5 people to receive the award after receiving it yourself. You must fit the characteristics of the recipient of the award, as posted. You must post the characteristics of a recipient. You must create a post sharing your win with others. You must thank your giver. I would like to bestow a Smile Award to the following:
BUT HERE'S THE CATCH.........
I don't have my computer, and I haven't been keeping up with blogs (with the fire and all!) so I need YOUR help. Do me a favor, and give someone the smile award! There are SOOOO many positive people that need recognition. Let's share the smiles!!!
I can think of one person off the top of my head that TOTALLY deserves this award. My sister, Hollie, and her family, because she let us barge into her home late one night after the fire, and she has let us stay here ever since. She has made us dinner everynight, and has even put together some crafts for the kids to do, since she knows that is what we would be doing at home. She and her hubby, Jared, have done all this so graciously, and I haven't heard them complain once!!! I am so thankful that they are here for us, and continue to offer their support!
Okay, so go on people, give someone a smile!!!
