I {LOVE} to see the Temple.

Blaise was asked to draw a picture for our Primary Program yesterday.

He chose to draw a Temple. Since Blaise was little he LOVED driving by the Temples and seeing them. He would always ask very specific questions on how they were built, how long they took, what kind of stone they use, and etc. He has always been so fascinated by them, and when he was only 2 he asked me why all buildings couldn't be so beautiful.

Jason and I were sealed in the Bountiful Temple when Blaise was only 6 months old. I feel SO blessed that we can be a family forever, and that Blaise understands that. I loved having him there with us at the alter. He was smiling and cooing the entire time. After we were sealed the Sealer took him to the side and had a conversation with our little Blaise. When he brought him back he had tears in his eyes, and said he just wanted to hear about Heaven, and Blaise was so excited to tell him all about it.

I am so grateful for Temples, and for being able to be a family for all eternity. I am grateful that I am a Mother, and that my children are growing up with love and understanding of the gospel.

Hi there! Today is my first time to your blog and it is SO cute!! I loved your story about the temple! I can not wait to be sealed to my husband in the temple! It is soo amazing to have that kind of experience in the temple with your family and soo amazing that Blaise understands so much already! My first memory is actually being sealed to my family when I was 3. It is amazing the details that I remember! Anyway I really loved this post!

What a fabulous drawing and story. You're obviously setting a good example for him as parents if he's choosing to draw temples.

Blaise you are such an awsome artist...how special that you drew the temple. I love the temple in Salt Lake! It is my favorite temple. Last time I was there it was with my friend Peggy when we were in Salt Lake packing up her Mother's things. We took a break and went to walk around the temple grounds. It was so peaceful there and we both felt so at peace and felt her Mother's presence as if to tell us she was in a wonderful place. You can draw for me any day!
