It's a BOOtiful life!

We LOVE Halloween time around here.
LOVE IT!!

We started a tradition about 5 years ago that we do something "Halloweenish" every day of October. It's such a fun way for our family to experience the magic of the changing seasons.

I know, I'm late, but I want to post what we did for each day, so we can remember how blessed we are, and how we celebrate our BOOtiful life.

On the first day of October we got out our decorations and started decorating. We spook it up good. We found that "spooky" is a nicer word than "scary" for Ava. She loves spooky things, but not scary things.

Yesterday we went and got Caiden's costume and part of Ava's. They like to be dressed up ALL month long. We also did a Halloween sticker craft. They love doing crafts and it's a fun way for us to all do something together.

Can you guess what Miss Ava is going to be?

And for today's after school snack. Chocolate Milk, October style.

I got this idea from a Martha Stewart Halloween magazine last year, I'm sure you can find it online if you want, her pictures are MUCH more appealing. It's super easy. Just paint on some chocolate syrup and then pour in the milk. Yummy Yummy!

I love doing these little extra bits of "special" for my family. It brings us closer and reminds us to have fun and experience the Bootiful things around us.

Let's have a BOOtiful Month together!
