Get your craft on!
There is something about this time of year that makes me feel all crafty!
But, I am a bit ADD when it comes to crafts. I get all excited, buy all the supplies, and usaully never finish them, because I move on to the next craft, leaving an ugly trail of un-finished projects behind me.
I'm pathetic, I know.
So I have resolved to finish all my unfinished projects!! Part of my resolution was I have no money to buy new projects, but we will pay no attention to that minor detail, the point is, I'm finishing my projects!!!!
I made these cute little flower accesories. I went to Anthropologie a few months back and they had some cute little cutsie's pinned on to jackets and what not, and I thought "I can do that."
I love them. They will be so cute on a jacket. Can't you just picture Ava walking around with one of these on her cute little pea-coat? And right now I am using them on my purse. I pinned the blue one on and it's pretty much the cutest thing ever. I LOVE them. They had a bit of pazazz to your everyday.
Best part? They cost less than $1 each to make, and they take about 10 minutes.
Is it any wonder that I picked this as my first project to finish?
What do you have lying around that needs to be finished?

Love the flower - cute idea!
That is SO cute! How did you do that?? I am the same way, I always get excited only to let down on the follow through!!
I love your new layout by the way!!
Uhhmmmm...so when is the TUTORIAL going to be posted?? And I love how you decorate your blog for the holidays! I lost my bloggy background...I must have somehow erased part of the html, so it doesn't show up anymore, and I can't remember where I got it in the first place. I just need to learn how to do it myself like SOME people I know!
They turned out super cute!
They turned out super cute!
See, they are so cute I had to say it twice! =) Actually I was just being impatient and hit the button twice when my comment didn't load right away. But they are still marvelous.
so cute, and for just a dollar!! that is awesome:) love your new look too by the way;)
Super cute. What is it made out of? Is it fabric?
And I forgot to add...the un-finished project gene is obviously on the Martin side, because that is SO me. You see, I'm having a bunch of my wonderful family over for Thanksgiving and I'm debating how many of these projects I can actually get done before they're here and see what a slacker I am. Top of my list...try and finish painting my house that I've been in for over THREE years now! I don't even know if the paint will still be good! So don't look at the paint job when you're here!
OH MY GOSH, WAAAAAY CUTE! THE FLOWER PIN AND THE NEW LOOK. LOVE IT!
SORRY, YOU GOT THAT GENE FROM YOUR SLACKER, YET TALENTED MOTHER. HA,HA
So cute Heather!! I bet it looks so cute on Ava's coat. I hope to see more of your fun projects.

OK, so you now HAVE to do a tutorial on all your cute crafts.....people are BEGGING you! And, we HAVE to see some cute pics of Ava with her pins! You are such a creative genius!! After all, I only pick the best to be my BESTY!!! ;)
So cute! I have so many projects sitting in my closet waiting to be started or finished. The first one I really need to start is my attempt at a rag quilt for my daughter. I am not a seamstress, but I really want to try this. I think I'm a little nervous about the whole sewing thing and that's why I keep putting it off. Someday I will be brave and start. I love all your crafty things you share.
Those are adorable!
I have a whole desk full of scrapbooking stuff that hasn't been used!
BTW, love your new look. I clicked over and I was trying to figure out where I was!!
I just found you your blog! Glad I did! I am soooo with you....I must have a hundred unfinished projects!! I did these exact same flowers with fabric covered buttons in the middle...but I chose some funky green and orange retro fabrics, soooo even though they are adorable, what the heck am I gonna do with them???
