Christmas Day
Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Christmas bells are ringing!
I'm sad that it's over.
We had the best time this year, with the whole season. I really feel like we celebrated the Season. I didn't feel rushed or stressed, we did a lot of fun family things and I think the kids really got the reason for the season. I feel so blessed and content. I know how much my Heavenly Father loves me and watches over me. I love this time of year because the spirit is so strong and you can't help but feel His love. I love the warmth of the season, the giving, all the sappy movies on T.V. ( I never realized how many corny Christmas movies there are, and how much I love them!)
I feel especially grateful and blessed this season. I love my family with every fiber of my being, my husband is my rock, and my kids are the reason I breathe. My family and friends all being relatively happy and healthy this season, was the best gift I received. And for that, I am grateful.
I love you all, and hope y'all had a very Merry Christmas. I know we did. The kids kept saying it was the best Christmas ever! We say that every year, but I think this year really was.
Avery was SUPER excited about her dollhouse. It's not done yet, we still need to add some trim, but it will be done soon, and then I can show you pictures. It is SUPER cute!!!
Caiden got his Robo-Raptor! What kid doesn't want a remote control Raptor as a pet?

Blaise got his Lego AT-TE Walker!!
Ava got the horse she has had her eye on. She likes to ride it. She is pretty much crazy!
After we played with our toys for a bit, and the hubster and I took a nap, we headed over to my Sister's house for a YUMMY dinner, ..................and more presents!!!
Ava scored with a Tinker movie and color set, another magical horse, (she LOVES horses!) and a bucket FULL of Barbies, and Ponies and clothes, oh my!

Thanks Uncle Nick and Melanie for the race track and the Puppy for Ava. The boys LOVE the track and have it set up on the pool table for everyone's enjoyment!
Caiden was TOO TOO TOO cute when he opened up his presents. He LOVES Star Wars. In fact, I think he really believes he is a Master Jedi. So he opened up some Star Wars figurines, loved them, a Star Wars game, loved it, Star Wars Jammies, is STILL wearing them, but when he opened this,................OH MY!!! He really started to hyper-ventalate. He never imagined in his wildest dreams he would be the proud owner of the Millennium Falcon!! He just kept gasping for air, and looking at it. It was priceless. Needless to say, he was a happy camper!
I didn't know what my parents were getting the boys. I knew they were way excited to see what the boys thought of their presents though. Blaise opened his present and at first, he didn't know what it was. When I told him it was a DS, he jumped up and down and was SO excited. He has been asking for one, but since Santa brought the xbox 360 with Guitar Hero, he just knew he wouldn't get a DS too!!! Grandma and Bapa to the rescue. The funny thing is, they had no idea he wanted one!!!
After the kids opened their loads of presents and were off in La La land, the adults had a white elephant exchange. It was a lot of fun. Plus my parents put together a 72 hour kit together for each family. And Hollie, you better watch it,...........when you least expect it...............that purse will be gone!!!! hee hee!!!
All in all, I think the kids were right. Best Christmas Ever! (except we missed Nick!) Fun family, great food, and priceless reactions from the kids.
Perfect Day!!!

Oh boy! Your kids scored!! I really wanted to do the dollhouse thing this year...maybe for a birthday. :)
Sounds like you guys had a great Christmas. Too bad Nick couldn't make it, but at least you were able to spend it with the rest of your family.
