Day 1

Happy December!!!

For our First day of Christmas we are going to get into the spirit of things.

I have a tradition of decorating my home for Christmas the weekend of Thanksgiving. I try not to do anything "Christmas-ish" until Thanksgiving is over, except for the occasional gift buying. So once I do start getting my groove on, I HAVE to have the grand ole' Christmas music.

Now I know I told y'all about Pandora.com last year, but it's my tip for Day 1!

Go to Pandora.com and have it playing in the background during the day. It's free, and fabulous.
You just type in what you are looking for, and it plays EVERYTHING that relates to that.

My favorite Christmas channels are the Harry Connick Jr. Holiday channel because it plays a variety of that old school, jazzy, get up and dance Christmas music, and I also love the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Holiday channel because it brings the Sprit of Love and Hope into our home. And another favorite is the Dean Martin Holiday Channel. We LOVE this one.

Each chanel plays a variety of songs from different artists, but they all have the same "feel" or tone to the main artist you typed in.

So go ahead, give it a try today as you finish decorating, go over your gift lists, or as you are sitting down for a sweet snuggle with the kids.

Nothing lets your soul know it's Christmas time more than Holiday Music.

AND

Tonight on ABC to get the holiday spirit in full swing is Shrek the Halls, and How the Grinch Stole Chistmas! Yippee Skippee!

Have a wonderful day!

See ya tomorrow!

We've been rockin' to Christmas tunes for a couple of weeks now. We usually wait until after Thanksgiving too, but Thanksgiving was late this year! Plus we just needed to feel a little extra cheer> I'll check Pandora out, though, it sounds like fun!
