Everyday in May - May 3rd
Still sick! UGHH!!!
I got up and got the kids ready for school. I tamed Caiden's hair down a bit so that he wouldn't be a distraction.
I got Avery to school and then I came home and was sick, sick, sick!
I went and picked up Avery, drove to Jason's job site to drop of some supply money to him, and then came home.
I layed down, and little Ava let me rest for TWO hours!! After that I went outside and watched her ride her bike. I felt really weak and kept almost blacking out so I told Ava we needed to go back in the house. Of course this upset her, and she yelled at me, "IF YOU DON'T LET ME RIDE MY BIKE RIGHT NOW I WILL SMACK YOU IN THE FACE!!!!"
Well...............
So I sent her to her room for ten minutes while I ran to the bathroom.
I let her out of her room, and we talked for a bit. She said she was sorry, I told her I was sorry I was sick, and then I said that if she helped me carry a chair outside then I could sit and watch her for a bit longer. Yep, the "but Mom, you are ALWAYS sick" guilt works on me EVERY TIME!
The boys came home and they rode their bikes for a bit, then played soccer for a bit, then came in for snacks and homework.
Jason got home and we all went to Blaise's soccer game. All the parents and boys were SHOCKED to see Blaise's long hair gone. Some only recognized him because of his purple cleats!
The boys didn't play very well. They just weren't meshing with each other. We got two goals called back for off-sides, one of our boys kept fouling everyone, it was just a big mess out there. Blaise did score, but they lost, 5-3. Blaise was really upset with his team. He takes his soccer VERY seriously, and doesn't like to lose, but he is okay with losing if they played their best, he knew they didn't play their best last night.
After the game we went with Jason to do a bid on a job, and then everyone wanted Del Taco for dinner. I tried to eat a taco, but no..........still can't keep ANYTHING in long enough!!!

Sounds like a very fun-filled May so far. Well, all except the sick part of course. That does not sound fun at all!
Love the haircuts, very stylin'!
Maybe Blaise is like Sampson and by cutting his hair, his team's soccer strength is gone.
Sorry to hear you're still so sick. That is never fun. I'm keeping you in my prayers, though.
