Everyday in May- May 5th
Today I woke up early and read 2 Chapters in the Book of Mormon. I was talking with Jason last night on a few things I wanted to work on and change about myself, and I felt like I needed to make that a priority. I haven't in a LONG time. It was such a great way to start the day.
I got the kids off to school and then ran to Wal-Mart to do some shopping. It's nice going first thing in the morning with no kids.
I picked up Ava from school and we drove out to meet Jason for lunch. I LOVE when he calls me to meet me for lunch. We went to Gandolfo's. I got the Polo Sandwich, it was really tasty, but Ava ate half of it because apperently it looked better than hers. Then she ate hers too!
We came home and took a nap because I wasn't feeling too well. (Luckily I am over the food poisoning, but it's on to the pain portion of my life!) When I woke up from my nap I let Ava play Zoo Tycoon for a bit and I took a hot bath to try to relieve the pain in my legs. It worked!!
The boys got home and we ate snacks and talked for a bit. Blaise wasn't feeling too well so he didn't want to go out and play when his friends came by. Caiden played for about 20 minutes with the boys then he came in too.
We made these cute little Teacher appreciation gifts. The kids thought they were funny.
I made dinner, chicken stir-fry with asparagus and called Blaise's coach to let him know Blaise would be skipping practice tonight because he wasn't feeling well.
We ate dinner in front of the T.V. We watched Minute to Win It and American Idol. I was a bit upset with Lady Gaga's outfit. Caiden was obsessed with why she was wearing her underwear! I kept saying it was a bathing suit, he kept saying it was underwear. Avery sang "Alejandro" ALL NIGHT LONG!
Jason came home right as I was tucking the kids in for bed and then he changed out of his work clothes and headed down the to the office to do his homework. I guess I will catch up on some reading,.....or maybe I'll be lazy and watch T.V.

Cutest teacher appreciation gift idea I have ever seen. Love it!!! Also, what is in a Polo Sandwich? It sounds yummy. (everything sounds yummy to me now that I can hardly eat anything at all)
Minus the pain, it sounds like a great day.
I love the teacher appreciation gift.
