a super hero birthday

Caiden turns 7!!

He, once again, wanted a super hero birthday.

I think he has had a super hero birthday since he was two.

Maybe this is why.

HE IS RIPPED!! Maybe he is a super hero at night and that is how he got that six pack. Maybe I should take up being a super hero too.

Jason and I have a tradition that at some point of a birthday something will be decorated. Our living room when you wake up, the bathroom when you get out of the shower, the front door when you come home from school........... the kids never know when or where we will strike. It's a fun little tradition.

Caiden woke up to his par-tay. He even said he couldn't sleep the night before because he was SO excited for his presents! He is our present boy. He lives for them.

We opened presents first thing. He got everything he wanted, plus more. He was so excited that he got presents AND a gift card (thanks gwamma and bapa) to go get MORE presents.

He requested Chocolate Chip Pancakes with whip cream AND syrup for breakfast, with chocolate milk. After that we kinda just hung out for a bit. It was SUPER stormy all day, just like the day of his birth, so we have to put off going to the water park until the next day, but he was content to stay home and play with his new stuff. After a bit we went to Toys R Us to spend his gift card. He was so cute and careful with it. After that we went to Red Robin for lunch.

That night Blaise had a soccer game that night, AND we had back to school night. So we went to that and met teachers. We like all THREE. Yes, each kid has a teacher this year now that Ava is in school. Then we went over to the soccer game, and Caiden played around with his "soccer brother" friends.

After that we made a run to Sonic and then back home for Cake. CHOCOLATE cake, of course.
