Thanksgiving 2010
I love Thanksgiving! I love being with family, I love eating, I love the feeling of Christmas just around the corner, I love having a day designated to express my gratitude!
This year we went to VEGAS! I love going to Vegas, especially when it's cold up here. The whole family was there! We haven't all been together in like 3 years!
There was a lot of laughter, visiting, eating,....... is it bad that I love food SO SO SO much? My Mom made the best Thanksgiving feast ever! I am seriously sitting here typing and remembering and craving it all over again. MMMMMMMM
So we got there on Tuesday night. A big storm was rolling in so we left a day early. We ate at Jack-N-Box for dinner, because I miss that place. Just to save time, I will just admit now, we at at Jack in the Box everyday down there, for at least one meal.
Wednesday we got a text from Blaise's coach to check the ODP tryout list. Blaise had spent the last month trying out for Utah's Olympic Development Program for Soccer. In his age group there were over 200 kids that tried out, and they only take the top 40. We looked up his number, and YES!!!! Blaise is on the 99 Boys ODP team!!! So we took him out to lunch to celebrate at a Buffet. My kids LOVE buffets!!! After that we went down to the strip and went to Cesar's Palace. The kids were amazed at all the cool things, and the boys LOVED the NIKE store!
That night my sister and her family pulled in, and we ate Jack in the Box and watched I shouldn't be alive. For some reason the girls LOVED watching it with their Bapa!
Thanksgiving Day!! YUM!!! We cooked most of the day, then ate food for the rest of the day. The little ones colored, watched a movie and played. We all worked on a puzzle little by little. We scoured the ads. The men folk left to go get some electronic gadgets. My brother and his family came in. My Mom had the boys help her make ALL the desserts. They were in heaven! We watched Pumkin Chukin, and called it a day!
Friday we left and did a little shopping. Went out to lunch. Took the kids to see Mega Mind, LOVED it. That evening my Grandma and Grandpa arrived from California. It was nice to visit with them for awhile. We all went out to dinner, then came home and did some photos. We might have some to submit to that awkward family photo site. Hee Hee.
Saturday my sister and I met my cousin for breakfast and I got to meet her adorable little baby. Then we came home and packed up for our journey home.
I have such a grateful heart. I know I am blessed. I see it everyday when I see my family.

I'm still grateful for our time together, I LOVED having all my little chicks home and all together for a weekend. My Family Rocks!!!
It really was a nice thanks giving. Seeing everyone together was so nice! We all had a blast, and it showed. I hope we can do this again this coming Thanksgiving too. Were hoping to have Tori either this Thanksgiving or possibly next. I know she would have blast with all her cousins, and they would enjoy her too!
