Bad weekend

Last weekend was not a fun weekend.

Avery hadn't been feeling well for about a week. She wouldn't eat, and she would cry that her tummy hurt.

She has always had tummy issues, so I waited it out, but after about a week of it I decided I better take her in.

We went to her pediatrician, and she sent us straight to the hospital, she was afraid it was her apendix.

So we went to the hospital, they did a bunch of blood work, a urinalysis, and an ultra-sound. They also gave her a liquid IV, because she was deydrated.



After lots of tests, two IV's and 5 hours, they didn't know what was wrong with her, but they ruled out bladder and kidney infection, and apendix. So they let us take her home, which I was relieved. She was crying a lot, wanting to go home. When Jason got there she calmed down a lot. And it helped me a lot too, because I had to keep getting a nurse to sit with her while I ran down the hall to pee.

So we took her home and spent the rest of the weekend in bed. She got feeling better within two days. We don't know what was wrong with her, but it took her down!!
