There's no place like home..........

Here are a few pics of the new house. We are no where near "settled" but we are getting there. So far we love it here! Everyday when I walk outside I almost can't believe that we live here. It's so beautiful out here. Lakes, and mountians and river's, o my! And we are still close to town. We feel very blessed to live here. Inside is awesome too. It's over 3800sqft, and very bright and comfortable.

We spent all weekend doing yard work. It was a jungle out there! Cleaning up a quarter acre of weeds is quite the task! But so worth it. I love our yard. We have a top terrace with a park bench that I love to sit on and watch the sun go down. It's perfect. We are HOPING to paint the interior this next month. You would think that since we own a paint company we could just whip it out.........but isn't that how it always is? We are painting it a tanish color with a green tint. I will post the finsished pics when we finally get it painted. Here are a few for now.

* These pics aren't very good. But I think they give you an idea. I had to use the laptop too, so they may be really dark. I am going to try to set up my desk top today.

This is the front yard. Jason is helping the kids plant some seeds. This is the view of our backyard, sitting up on our park bench.

This is my kitchen!!!!

And this is the family room. It's actually a great room. It's the family/kitchen/dining all combined. It has vaulted ceilings in the family area, and then wood floors cover the entire main floor except for the family room and the formal living. I will post more rooms as we get them done. And I will post pics of the great room when it's completely finsihed. Paint and all!
