Technical Difficulties
So we haven't had internet service the past few days. Qwest left a nice note on our door saying that they were updating their service out here, and to pardon the interruption. It was 6 days!!! I didn't think it would effect me as much as it has. I checked everyday to see if it was up and running. I am addicted to blog. Might as well face it, I'm addicted to blogs!. (Yes, I used to love Robert Palmer!) Anyhoo. I am back, and I can update, and I can catch up with everyone elses. I missed all of my blog friends!!!
Anyhoo, not much has happened. Except.......Blaise graduated from the first grade on Friday!!!I am excited to have him home for the summer. And I am excited to not have to drive 30 minutes into town to take him to school, then 30 minutes back, then 30 minutes again to pick him up, then 30 minutes back. Anyways, I digress. He is out of school, and excited. Bikes and skateboards and friends, oh my!
CAIDEN GOT HIS CASTS OFF! WHOO HOOOOO!!!
He was so excited to get those things off. He was SOOOOO good about it. He is such an awesome little guy. Not once, in the last 3 weeks has he even complained. Never a "it's not fair" or "why me?" What an inspiration he is. He just patiently waited. He didn't enjoy them, and they did bug him, but he was very patient with it. I love that kiddo! He was so excited when we pulled in the driveway and all his little friends were waiting for him so he could finally PLAY!! He felt very important!
It wasn't all great news though. His breaks are healed, his growth plate is not. The growth plate in his right arm is doing okay, they just want to check on it, but they aren't really concerned with it. The left one is damaged, and they won't know the extent of it for awhile. It hadn't healed at all since his last x-rays, and the doctors didn't like that. We have to wait 6 months and go back to the Specialist and get more x-rays. If it looks the same, then it's bad, if it has healed at all, then we just keep watching it every six months and waiting. We are really hoping that when he goes back in December, that it shows some signs of improvement. But for now we are going to focus on the positive, no more casts!!!

I'm so glad you're back. I kept checking to see if you had a new blog. I haven't been able to post lately because something is wrong with my camera so I can't download the pictures I need. Oh Well! I am so glad Caiden's casts are off and he's doing so well. I really hope he completely heals and won't need anything else done. It's so funny, in the picture of you and Caiden kneeling on the grass I see so much of Blaise in your face. I think it's your mouth, they look the same to me. I LOVE the picture of Ava, it's sooo sweet!
