Lagoon!
Jason took today off so that we could go to Lagoon. We had a blast, and it was great practice for our big trip in a week. I learned that I need to bring my zoom lens too, not just my regular one. I need to bring a bigger bag, (YAY! That means a shopping trip!) to carry all of our stuff! I need to bring MORE diapers. (We actually had to ask another lady if we could have one of hers!) I need to bring a change of clothes for each kid. And the most important thing I learned, was Avery was ACTUALLY very good. She didn't try to escape once! PHEW! I keep having visions of losing her at Sea World because she is quite the escape artist!!
We had a blast today. Rode lots of rides, took a stroll down Pioneer Village, ate yummy park food, the boys got soaked in the fountains, had to buy the boys a new "theme park" DRY outfit, played games and won a shark, just had FUN!! Thanks Daddy for taking the day off to play with us!

* Funny story of the day! I wasn't really feeling well today. And I was sick most of this morning, so I didn't eat much all day. So by like 9 in the evening I was starving. So we were in line to eat and the kids working behind the counter were taking FOREVER, and I was getting a bit cranky.
Me - "Oh my gosh! I am so hungry. If these people don't hurry I am going to start biting people's heads off!"
Blaise and Caiden look at each other.
Caiden - (in a very loud, frantic voice.) "You are going to bite our heads off?!!!".............."That would be CRAZY!!"
I could not stop laughing. I am STILL laughing.........maybe you had to be there!

What a fun day! Those pictures are great. I love the close up of Ava's bright blue eyes & cute little cabbage patch nose. I just want to squeeze it (please don't bite my head off for saying that!). =) Her hair is getting so long, too cute. The boys look like they had a blast. They're getting so big. MAKE THEM STOP!
LOOKS LIKE A TON OF FUN! AVERY'S HAIR IS GETTING LONGER, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SEE THE BACK. LOVE, THE PICTURES OF THE BOYS IN THE BIG FOUNTAIN, SOME REALLY COOL SHOTS. LOVE, THE B/W OF AVERY'S EYES. SHE IS GOING TO MELT SOME HEARTS SOME DAY, SHE ALREADY MELTS OURS. CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR TURN TO ENJOY THE KIDS NEXT WEEKEND.
LOVE YA,
First of all, I'm so jealous that you have an amusement park so close to your house! Hello, Phoenix has 3 MILLION people....what is wrong with this picture.......oh wait, maybe the fact that NO ONE wants to go outside in 116 degrees!!! Secondly, I LOVE that you wear heels EVERYWHERE you go......including ALL day amusement parks when you are not feeling well! Hee Hee
LOVE LOVE LOVE the b&w pic of the boys and the close up of Ava's eyes! Too cute!
Did you ride any of the rides with them? It looks like so much fun!
Jamie,
Ya, I rode a lot of the rides, but my luck, the rides I rode with the kids, Jason was either on a business call, so he couldn't take pics, or it was raining, so we didn't want to get the camera out. We had thunderstorms on and off all day, which was actually kinda nice, cuz it was HOT! Not as hot as you, I know.
And YES I wear heels all the time. They are a girls best friend! They make your legs look great, and they are just too cute! I know, I am Peg Bundy!!! HA HA!
Next time you come up, we should go to Lagoon!!!
Oh Lagoon, that brings back a lot of memories. Many summer vacations as a kid to Utah were spent with a couple of days at Lagoon! Great pictures!
Love the pictures. We are planning a trip next week and Lagoon is on the list of places to see.
I was going to comment on your shoe choice as well. You look great but didn't that kill your feet? I could never pull it off. I hate wearing heels to church for three hours. That's just me though.
Heather-
Have fun at Lagoon! It's great! If you are coming up to Utah you should visit the Dinosour Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Your little guys would probably LOVE it!
The shoes, I think it's funny that so many of you noticed them. Those shoes don't hurt, AT ALL! Otherwise I would not have worn them. Comfort is number one!!! I am used to wearing heels. I was trained to dance in Character Shoes, marched parades in them, did kick-lines, the whole shabang. I honestly feel more comfy walking in heels than in flats. I know, it's odd!
