Okay, I almost can't believe I posted this picture. This could be used as SERIOUS blackmail. The glasses, the "don't mess with me pose," the hair!
Anyways, the point of this scarry little picture is it is one of our family vacations. Growing up we took a summer vacation EVERY year. And most years it was with the WHOLE family. Our family, The Martin Family, the Schattschneider Family, and Grandma and Grandpa. It was so awesome to grow up so close with cousins and Aunts and Uncles. And my Grandparents, they always joined in on the fun. In fact one year we went to Glamis and we all brought our ATV's, and Grandma and Grandpa even took a little ride.
I loved our family vacations. We always went somewhere fun, - Oregon, San Francisco, Crater Lake, Glamis, The Caves, The Cabin, Seattle, Camping.did something grand, - rafting, shopping, exploring, riding, and we were all together having a blast. I want my kids to have the same memories. This year, in less than 2 weeks to be exact, we our taking our summer vacation to San Diego. We have been trying to plan this for awhile, but Caiden broke his arms, and we had to keep going in to have his growth plate checked on, so we kept having to move the date. Well we finally picked it, and it couldn't have worked out better. My cousin Kris, and his family will be down from Oregon that same week. My Mom and Dad are going with us, and My sister and her family decided to join too. So it will be a big family vacation like I remember. Aunts, Uncles, cousins, Grandparents. The whole gang. I am so excited. There will be 16 of us all together! This is what "summer vacation" means to me. Going somewhere, with EVERYONE in tow.

LOVE THE PICTURE! I actually thought that was mom when I first glanced at it. Our family vacations were the best, they were always such a big event. I always tell Jared about them and he really wants to do the same thing with our family because his family didn't really do summer vacations growing up. So excited for San Diego, I can't wait!
