"No ake ic!"
Translates to - "Don't take a picture!"
I tried to take some pictures of Avery yesterday. I learned a new
technique for taking pictures in low light, and no one wanted to
help with my homework. I was getting really frustrated, but
then I tried to see the bright side............maybe one day when
I am old and gray I will forget what the backside of Little Miss
Ava looked like, and I will have these pictures to remind me.

I have been having a tough time with her lately. I would say Terrible Two's, but she was already so independent. She is just too strong and stubborn for her own good. I want to raise a strong girl, but I also want a sweet, soft spoken little girl. She has not found that happy medium yet. There is nothing more un-attractive than a girl that has anger issues, BITES, throws tantrums all the time, and beats up on boys. I guess it COULD be cute at 2 years old, to anyone but her Mother, but if she is like this at 15..............I don't even want to think about it! ;0
I know it's just a stage though!
I hope!

I LOVE that last pic, it is too adorable! She is a total cutie pie and I'm sure the tantrums and stuff wouldn't be cute to me either since I have my own "stubborn" child! Mine is 3 1/2, so if I figure out how to deal with it any day soon, I'll let ya know! ;0
Super cute pictures, I love how she is always wearing her bracelet. You describe her as such a brute, but she seems so adorable & girlie! =) I know how it is though, maybe not quite to the same extent. Everyone always tells me how sweet & mellow Addison is, but I know the truth. I get to see the girl gone angry behind closed doors!
NO PROFOUND WORDS OF WISDOM, NO PERFECT ANSWER, I BELIEVE, ALL WE CAN DO AS PARENTS IS TEACH OUR CHILDREN RIGHT FROM WRONG, TEACH THEM TO BE KIND, LOVING, CARING, PEOPLE, GIVE THEM ALL THE TOOLS THEY WILL NEED, THEN ALLOW THEM TO EXERCISE THEIR INDEPENDENCE, AND FREE AGENCY, WHILE ALSO TEACHING THEM ALL ACTIONS HAVE A CONSEQUENCE, GOOD OR BAD. THEY HAVE TO ACT ACCORDINGLY, AND EXPECT THE APPROPRIATE CONSEQUENCE FOR THEIR ACTION. HOW TO SET RULES AND BOUNDRIES AND THEN ENFORCE THEM IS SO INDIVIDUAL, EVERY PARENT HAS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WORKS BEST FOR THEM, EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE IS ISOLATED, AND EVERY CHILD IS SO DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE. JUST REMEMBER, TO APPRECIATE THEIR UNIQUENESS, LOVE AND ENJOY THEM, LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE LOVED (EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE TO DISIPLINE THEM), SHOW THEM UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, AND BUILD A STRONG, CARING AND LOVING RELATIONSHIP, WITH A FOUNDATION OF RESPECT, BECAUSE YEARS FROM NOW, THAT WILL BE WHAT MATTERS MOST TO BOTH OF YOU. MOTHERHOOD IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE TOUGHEST JOB IN THE WORLD. HOWEVER, IT IS ALSO THE MOST REWARDING JOB! :)
P.S. BITING AND BEING ABLE TO BEAT UP BOYS AT AGE 15, MIGHT NOT BE SUCH A BAD THING!! :)
