Happy October!
"It's the most wonderful time of the year!"
I know this is meant to be a Christmas song, but around here, it's an October song. We LOVE Halloween. It's our favorite holiday and time of year. We go ALL out!
So I thought it would be fun to include all of you in our Halloween activities. Last year I started a tradition of doing something Halloween-ish every day of October. We had the 31 days of Halloween. It was so fun, and the kids LOVED doing it. We did a craft, an activity, a treat, a movie, SOMETHING that was absolutely spooktacular!
So today we started with a bang!
We went to Michaels and got some foam pumpkins to decorate for our grand staircase. We are going to do it tonight after soccer, so I will post a picture tomorrow. And since tonight is a soccer night, we are having an easy dinner. I am just going to make Mac & Cheese, but Halloween style. Here's a tip to all of you that want to join in on some month long fun. Buy the Spiderman Mac & Cheese, it's full of spider and web shapes! Very creepy! I am also making chicken strips only tonight they will be called "Tombstone Chicken." Just jazz up a regular dinner with a fun and frightful name.
We also got out the Halloween CD's, and we rocked out all day in the car on our errands to our Monster themed Music! Did I mention that we go ALL out in October!?
Have fun and Happy Haunting.

HOWL FRIGHTFULLY FUN YOU GOBLINS AND PUMPKINS ARE HAVING. IT ALL SOUNDS SPOOKTACULAR. I AM TOTALLY ROCKIN' TO THE HALLOWEEN MUSIC. WE ALSO THINK THIS TIME OF YEAR IS BOOTIFUL.
Halloween is an frighfully awsome time of year....I am going to go to OOOOOOregon to trick and treat with my little goblins up there! Or should I say Optimus Prime and Cinderella! I am looking forward to doing some decorating up there! Where did you get the Halloween CD. I would like to get one for up there!
Very fun ideas! I am excited to hear more.
SOOOOOO much fun! I LOVE this time of year, too bad we don't live next door to each other to have one big, fun haunted house!
Aunt Debbie,
We have one CD from 5 years ago that we got in a cereal box! One from Target from a few years back, and then last year we downloaded a bunch from the internet and made our own. When you come up I can make you a copy too.
Happy October! Sounds like you guys do some really fun things, I will have to borrow some ideas. I feel so bad I haven't even started decorating yet. Mom is so cute when she was here and I was in the hospital she put up some cute fall decorations for me.
