Missing you.
Okay, is this weird or what!?! Today when Jason's alarm went off, this was the song,-
"I ain't missing you, I ain't missing you, I ain't missing you,..........I can lie to myself!" I have no idea what the name or who sings it, but it's like an early 90's song or something. Anyone know what I am talking about? Anyhoo, now I have that song in my head, and it's so appropriate for me right now.
I am REALLY missing living by family.
This weekend we had Tricia and her family down from Oregon. It was so nice to visit with Tricia and Taylor, and to get the kids all together again. The boys loved playing together, Avery loved playing with Tabiatha,........Espen not so much! 2 year olds, what's a Mom to do? It was really nice having them here. We really miss them and everyone else in Oregon.
Also, I have been missing my Mom and Dad all weekend. I kept calling them to get help and suggestions with Blaise's party. Then I realized that it would just be easier to pull off a party like that if they were here!
Then yesterday I get a call from my brother in law Jared that my sister was having an emergency C-section. WHAT!?!?! I hate not living by her. She is my sister PLUS she is my best friend, and now she is in the hospital having her baby early, and I am no where near there! I am missing her!!!! Everything went all right. She had a beautiful six and a half pound baby boy! She is doing good, and the baby is doing good. Me,...........not so good. I really wish I could be there. I wish I could help with Addison. I wish I could help my sister recover. I wish I could hold that precious little boy! And while I'm making wishes..........I wished she lived next door to me!!!
So that is my feelings in nutshell for this morning. I am missing my family. A LOT!
On a good note though, today is October first! Yippee! I love October!

Okay, so I'm not family per say, but I am going to be the first to post on this one anyways! Congratulation Hollie!!!! I'm so excited for her! Maybe I'll get a chance to make it up there this week sometime and I can give her a hug for you! Secondly, I totally agree with the whole missing your family thing! The longer I'm away, the harder it gets! I wish we lived closer to each other, then we could go shopping to get rid of our saddness! hee hee

Of course you are family!! And I so wish I lived close to you!!! I wish you were my OTHER next door neighbor. How AWESOME would that be!?!?! And yes shopping away our sadness is the next best thing to living by family. You know all too well how I am feeling right now. We both flew too far away from the nest!!

We are all so spread out! I wish we all lived closer too! Maybe, just maybe it makes us appreciate each other more though since our visits are far too short and too far in between! I know exactly which song you are talking about! It is one of my favorites, but I don't know who sings it. I think the title is "Ain't missing you". Counting the days until I can hug your precious children! Love you all
I am not sure I know this song your talking about, but I to miss being close together. It really sucks because I just recently found out me and Melanie wont be able to go down with all of you to AZ for Christmas. With us both in new jobs and us both needing time off in Jan for our wedding we just cant get enough time off. Its going to be so hard to be away from everyone that time of year! OH well at least I will see all of you for the wedding a month later :)

I totally know what song you're talking about, how funny. I'm so glad you had fun with Jason's family. Don't worry, it won't be too much longer for us to be close by...hopefully. Then you'll get sick of us in no time at all! =)
