Happy New Year!
I know this is late . . . but, better late than never, right?!
New Year's Eve was good. Had some good friends over and rang in the new year.
I was a little excited to see 2007 go and 2008 start. Not that 2007 was a bad year, it had it's moments. But still, it's always exciting to feel like I have a new start. And a clean get away!
I am not one who can keep to her goals. I get "gung-ho" at first, but then my excited-ness loses momentum. This year I want to focus on monthly goals. I know myself so well. This way I can keep my enthusiasm and actually accomplish them.
For January my goal is to get organized and to de-clutter. Jason is on a "less is more" kick. He wants to spend less, live for less, stress less. So as his ever loving wife, I need to help him do this. I will start with our home.
In addition to my monthly goals I just want to have a few "revolving" goals. Goals that keep me focused all year long. Last year my goal was to live life to it's fullest. I feel like this year I can do an even better job of that. I want to stop worrying so much of what others think of me, I want to do more for others, I want to be more healthy, I want to create more giddy moments, yada yada yada.
I think at this time of year, we all just want to be the best that we can be. To live each day as if it were our BEST! This year lets help each other accomplish our bliss. Lets motivate, love and inspire each other. Let us really make this a Happy NEW year!

I just wanted to let you know what I do as far as sharpening. Don't know if you do this already.
Before I do any adjustments in PS, I do a defog by running the unsharp mask. Entering the numbers: 17,26,0. Do all of my corrections and adjustments. Merge my layers and then if I am going to publish on the web, I do a final sharpening pass with another unsharp mask using the numbers: 500,0.2,0. That's only for the web though. Apparently there should be some sort of final sharpening pass before printing. I'm not really clear about those numbers. still learning.

I need to be more organized too. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it's within me. I think I was born with the "clutter" gene. I take afer my Dad. You should see his garage...scary.
I totally get the "de-clutter" thing! I need to do that too! You are so good at goals, you always get them done. You will inspire us all! LOVE YA!
I need to do all of your goals too. I love the idea of "monthly" goals, I think that's a great thing to do. I also like Jason's philosophy of "less is more", that's something we're trying to adapt as well. I'm with you, last year wasn't necessarily bad, after all I got my beautiful baby boy which is wonderful, but this year I just want less stress which will create more bliss!
