What's your word?

I saw this idea on Ali Edwards blog.

LOVED IT!
Pick your word for the year.
A word that means something to you, that inspires you, that uplifts you.
Make it mean something. Display it so you can see it.
I am going to print this out to a 5x7 and hang it in my house.
I looked over her list of words, and came up with a few of my own, and for some
reason, this word kept jumping out at me.

It isn't the word I thought I would pick, but sometimes, words pick you, right?

I think part of the reason this word kept coming back to me is because it's just so pure. You can't fake it, you can't pretend it. It's true and it's real.
I want to delight in the true and real things.

The sitting in front of the fire and reading books with the kids. The watching the planes outside. The sacrifice it is taking to build our business. Making cookies, not from scratch, but still puting them on the baking sheet and throwing them in the oven. Doing the laundry with yummy smelling fabric softner. Putting on a good cd and groovin! The true and the real things that are my life right now.

So this year, instead of asking "What's your sign?" (like you do anyways!) ask "what's your word?"

I am in a silly mood I guess. When I saw your word it made me think of the song "rappers delight" and then it made me think of the old lady on the wedding singer rapping that song lol. All thats left is to break it on down!

all sillyness aside very good word :)
