Plan B

It seems like lately I have had to resort to "Plan B" a lot.
Today is a Plan B type of day.

Lately I have been feeling so "blah." I haven't gotten out of the house much, I haven't been getting "all dolled up" like I usually do, just cleaning and getting organized. Last night I realized that I needed to do something today because I was slowly drifting into a slump.

So . . . this was Plan A:
get up and work-out
get my hair colored (my gray is starting to age me!)
put on one of my cutest outfits and jewelry.
Meet Jason for lunch then go hit the mall for some of the awesome sales that are going on!
teach dance
come home and bake cookies, do my nails, and read a magazine.

I was really excited about Plan A.
I needed Plan A.

But last night at around 10 o'clock Plan B was set into motion.
Avery was up crying all night with an ear ache.
Blaise woke up in the middle of the night complaining of a sore throat.
Woke up this morning to a good 10 inches of new snow.

Needless to say, I did not wake up early to work up, because I really never went to sleep.
Jason and I can't go to lunch because we have sick kiddo's.
I can't even go out by myself today and enjoy my day because I am too scared to drive in the snow.
So here it is, 10:30, still in my P.J's and trying not to think too hard about what could have been!

Anyways, here are some pictures of our morning. I haven't picked up the camera in almost 2 weeks, so I figured today would be as good of day as any.

Thank You Heather for your Photoshop tips too. You're Awesome!!!

Holy cow! First of all, my life LIVES in Plan B and sometimes C and D! Secondly, you handle it so well, I would have been screaming by 9am! ;) hee hee Secondly, LOVE your corners on your pictures, TOO cute! And last, but definitely not least..........that SNOW! WOW! It's gorgeous, but I don't think I could ever live in that, I would probably never leave the house and end up a frumpy old hermit with gray hair and crazy kids! You are doing MUCH better than I would!!!! Glad you are so happy with your Plan B, you always make the most of every situation! I loved this post.....I think it is so true of a lot of us! Thanks for sharing! LOVE YOU GIRL!

So sorry the kids are all sick, that is not fun at all. Neither of mine have ever had ear infections, but I've heard they are just awful (for the parents and the child)! Hope they all start to feel better soon. Love the pictures, especially the one of Ava & Jason together. Very cute!

Sorry to hear plan A didn't work out and you have sick kids again. It sounds like you are making the best of plan B. I hope you get a chance to do plan A soon.

I LOVE YOUR PICTURES, ESPECIALLY THE ONE OF AVERY AND DADDY, HOW SWEET.
HOPE EVERYONE IS FEELING BETTER SOON, IT IS NO FUN, NO FUN AT ALL. ESPECIALLY FOR THE MOMMA. THIS MUST BE SOME BAD STUFF, DAD HAS BEEN SICK ON AND OFF SINCE NOVEMBER.
OK, MAYBE NEW PLAN "A" FOR TOMORROW, IF YOU FIND YOUR SELF NEEDING TO STAY AT HOME AGAIN DUE TO SNOW AND SICKIES. THEN MAYBE AFTER PUTTING THEM ALL OFF TO BED, YOU CAN SEND JASON TO GET SOME DINNER FOR YOU TWO, WHILE HE IS GONE, GET YOURSELF DOLLED UP, AS IF YOU'RE GOING OUT ON A DATE, LIGHT A FEW CANDLES AND HAVE A NICE EVENING TOGETHER WHEN HE GETS HOME. :)

I had to resort to my Plan B too. There was no way I was going to drive around in all of this snow. If it makes you feel better, I am still in my pajamas and it's 7pm. I think I will change into new pajamas for bedtime so I don't feel completely gross.

One of these days you're going to have to teach me how to do all the cute little digital picture embellishments. I love it.

I think just about every one of my Saturday's turns out as Plan B. I always have these grandios plans of what I can get done that I don't get done throughout the week, but by the time I get out of bed I just think, "I get up early Monday-Friday and have to go to work and come home and cook and clean...today I'm going to just sit around and relax." And then it's 4 in the afternoon and I'm still in my PJ's and haven't taken a shower. Everyone needs those days and it's good to hear I'm not the only one laying around in their pajamas so late in the day!

Hey Heather! Glad to see you are back to the blog, I missed you. Sorry to hear you couldn't do plan a, too. It would have been fun,but Jamie's right, you are making the best out of plan b. Sounds like you will really need planA after having sick kids and no sleep!
