an explanation . . . .
I had a really bad day the other day. Nothing BAD happened, well . . . .not REALLY bad. It was just a crummy day. I was sick. The kids couldn't stop fighting. They all got put in time-out several times. Avery throws a tantrum EVERY five minutes. She won't take naps anymore and I can't keep that girl dressed to save my life. Caiden and Blaise fight over EVERYTHING. Over who plays what game on x-box, what coloring book to use, what cars to play with, who loves Mom more, who is smarter, you name it, they can, will and HAVE fought over it. I had a headache and I was so sick of hearing them. I was evening sick of looking at them. We were all in a bad mood.
Blaise talks back when he is mad.
Caiden punches, kicks, body slams whatever he can when he is mad.
Avery screams a blood curdling scream when she is mad.
I cry when I am mad.
I was talking to my best friend, Jamie, telling her I was so close to losing it and I was trying my hardest to keep my cool. When in comes Avery walking in, she put her hand on my hand and there was blood. A lot of it.
I looked at her and her hands were covered in blood. Her shirt had blood all over it, and her mouth was dripping blood. She was very calm, and wasn't crying at all. She was just asking for a wipe.
So I followed the blood trail, it led to the the bathroom. There was blood ALL over the counter. ALL over the floor, a puddle in the sink . . . . . and a bloody razor sitting on the floor.
I started to clean her up so that I could figure out where she cut herself. There was SOOOOO much blood, I feared the worse. Luckily, we wiped it up and she showed me where her "ouchies" were. In her mouth.
The girl put a razor in her mouth!!!!
She bled for over an hour. Mouth wounds bleed a lot. Luckily it isn't anything too serious. Her little tongue has a big gash in it and her lips are ALL cut up. She would only eat Banana's yesterday because her mouth hurt so bad. Today she is back to normal.
So that is what my post was about yesterday. I had HAD it with them, on the verge of a mental break-down, and then she goes and does that on top of it.
I don't get it.

Unbelievable! First it's nails and tacks up the nose and now it's a razor in the mouth. I think you need to hide the sharp metal objects in your house. How horrifying a sight that must have been.
That little girl is going to be the death of you! She is always getting into something, or running out in front of something or getting hurt somehow. She is apparently trying to keep up with her busy brothers!
You poor thing.....I wish I was closer too to give you a nice break! LOVE LOVE LOVE you!
Man, what an awful day! That girl has no fear. I'm so sorry they're giving you such a hard time. Why don't you send them down a couple of days early for Easter so you can have a break?
By the way, I keep forgetting to tell you, I also love your song and header. Very appropriate for March.

That was a ROUGH day. My mouth hurts just reading about Ava. I am glad she is back to normal today and hopefully you are feeling better too!
wow, what a doozie of a MOM day! I am so sorry for all the stress & craziness. If it is any help, we have all been there, and we know how you feel. I know it doesn't help, but at least we can vent to each other! hang in there!!
