Spring Break.

We went to Las Vegas for a fun filled 5 day weekend. There is just something so great about getting away from work, from school, from soccer, scouts, dance, and cleaning! We had a blast. It was warm and green, and we got to see our loved ones.

Thursday - Left home. Ate lots of yummy gas station snacks!! MMMMMmmmmmmm!! We watched Scooby 2, Chicken Little and UnderDog. Got to Vegas around 7 and Hollie and the family (Hollie, her hubby and kids, my Mom and Dad, and Grandma!) had dinner waiting. Got to visit with everyone for awhile. Then we put the kids to bed and played Guitar Hero! I must say, I think I was born to be a rock star!

Friday - Went to Dunkin Doughnuts, took the kids to a park, (they couldn't wait to play at a park, it's been so long since we have been able to up here.) at lunch, went home and took naps (I LOVE vacation naps!) then went shopping. Came home ate dinner, put the kids to bed and then the adults ordered take out and watched Just Friends!!

Saturday - Got Krispy Creme (we eat SOOOO good on vacation) the kids wanted to take Grandma to see Horton Hears a Who, so all 10 of us went to see it. LOVED IT! Then went to the Mall, ate, went to Target then came home. Had a BBQ, played some games, relaxed. I went out with my Bestest Friend, Jamie that night. She looked Fabulous as always. Went to Outback and to see 27 Dresses. I wish we lived closer.

Sunday - Woke up, made a fabulous Easter brunch with Hollie. I LOVE her. I am really lucky to have such a great sister!!! Went hunting for Easter baskets and eggs. The kids were ecstatic with their findings!! Caiden found an egg with some dollars in it, and his mouth dropped to the ground. Played some baseball, Blaise loved having his Jared and Bapa to play with. Then we made some food for our family reunion picnic. We headed to the Park to meet all my cousins, their kids and my Aunt and Uncle. I loved being able to catch up with everyone. It's been way too long!! I am really so blessed to have such a wonderful family!!!

Monday - Hit Dunkin Doughnuts one last time, packed and hung out, went out to lunch, then said our sad good-byes. The kids kept asking me why we can't move back to Vegas to be by everyone. I wish it was that simple. Hit Jack in the Box on our way out, ( we don't have one up here and I miss their Taco's with ketchup!) Our 6 hour drive turned into a 7 hour drive because Avery had to get out and run around for an hour at a truck stop. She was sick of the car. Got home at 9 and we ALL went to bed.

Thanks for letting us stay with you How how!! You guys are the best. We love ya!!!
Here are a few pictures. I actually didn't take a lot. I was too busy having fun, visiting, holding my new sweet nephew, and eating doughnuts!!!! I will take some pics of the kids in their Easter best this weekend though because they looked too cute not to. I made Ava's Easter dress and I LOVED it. I just didn't try to take pictures of her in it, like REAL pictures, because the night before we left she fell and got a slight concussion, a goose egg on her forehead and two black eyes!! I Tell you what!!!! . . . . . .

I had so much fun with you guys at the partk. I loved watching the kids running around and playing with each other. We'll definitely have to figure a way to do it more often. You got some cute pictures too. I love the close up of Addison...she has rosy cheeks and brilliant eyes and dark lips...she'll never need make-up with that kind of coloring!

We had SO MUCH FUN this weekend! I'm so glad you guys were able to visit and can't wait for you to come back. Addison keeps asking when we're going to go to "Nutah" to see "Hedder". Love all of the pictures. You, Jennifer & Jamie all look marvelous darling and the girls holding hands walking away is too adorable. You did such a good job on miss Ava's dress, it was gorgeous. Love the picture of Addison, she looks so pretty but she totally looks like she's wearing make-up. I promise people, I DO NOT put make-up on my two year old daughter!
