Giddy List

** I am still so giddy that we got to go to Vegas over the Mother's Day weekend. It was short and sweet, but it was so nice. My family took the kids all day on Friday so that Jason and I could have an all day date. Pure Giddiness! We went shopping, to a movie, out to eat, to eat again, to a movie, to a wedding, it was so nice to just be able to do whatever we wanted, and not have to take the kids into consideration. I know, it's pure selfishness, but sometimes that is a good thing. Thanks Hollie and Mom for watching my crazy kids!

** I am GIDDY that the mysterious fever monster that has stuck our house is gone. He got Jason and Blaise bad. But they are both back to normal today and no signs of him making a grand return. You are not welcome here Mr. Fever Monster. You stay away. Far away. Away. Oh - and can you let Mr. HFM man know he is no longer welcome here either. Ava does not want to play with him anymore! And I could strangle him!! I DO NOT like Mr. Hand-foot-mouth!!! NOT.AT.ALL!

** Giddy over strawberry ice cream. Sat down and caught up on some of my shows last night with a big ole' bowl of it. I think I want another one right now! Is nine in the morning too early to eat ice cream?

** My family makes me giddy. I LOVE spending time with my parents and my sister and her family. ..........and my brother, but I don't get to see him very much. My family always centers me, always gives me the warm fuzzie's inside, and always makes me realize what's most important. I was so glad that I got to spend Mother's Day with my Mom and sister. We went shopping, we went to Maid of Honor, we dragged my Dad too, we made him think it was called MADE of Honor, you know, like a war movie or something. HA HA!!! We also went to Anthropologie and decided we needed to raid Grandma's house because her house is FULL of fun and funky stuff.

** G.I.D.D.Y over my thrift store finds! Yes, I LOVE the thrift store. I know, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but fill me up!!! I found these little lovely's. The bright colored one on top is actually a queen size sheet that I am going to use to make Ava a dress, and make a few aprons. TA DA!! And the other fabric will be for some other cutesie's too. I will be sure to show y'all when they are finished. I got all this vintage fabric for $10. WOO HOO! Thrift stores are our friends!

** I get so GIDDY when I look in my view finder on my camera and gasp! That is what I did when I saw these two pictures. I love em'!

** And last but CERTAINLY not least, my sweet Mother makes me giddy. She is one of my best friends, and I feel so very lucky to be able to say that. She inspires me with her creativity and her love for her family. She adores her grandchildren and they feel the same about her. They flock to her. She is funny, smart, beautiful, and pretty much the most awesome Mom ever. I love you!

I'm glad you were able to visit your family. I love a good thrift store. They are sometimes really smelly but you can always find a few treasures. I can't wait to see what you make. The picture of Avery is darling.

Robin's comment makes me laugh. I totally just got a whiff of a thrift store when I read that.
Love those fabrics and LOVE the pictures. The one of Jared & Urban is precious and Avery looks like a princess looking out her castle window.
It was so fun having you guys visit. I already can't wait for us all to get together again. We've got to get Nick in on one of these.

Love the pictures. The one of Jared and Urban could totally be in a photo mag. It's perfect. I think I'm going to have to start frequenting thrift stores now. Those fabrics are fun.
