They say the darndest things!

So, today we were playing in the pool, surprise-surprise, and we were playing a game of pirates. I looked at the kids and said
"Arghhhhh, shiver me timbers!"

To which Avery tried to copy me and say it back.

She said something MUCH different!

She looked at me and said - "Arghhhh, shake my titties!"

I can't make this stuff up people!

Needless to say, I won't be saying that to her in public for her to repeat!!!

**DISCLAIMER**
We do not use this sort of language around these here parts. For some reason "shiver me timbers" comes out a lot different when it's being repeated by my two year old!

Well at least now you know what "shiver me timbers" converts too in Avery language. Funny!

Ha Ha! That made me giggle. For whatever reason I just see little Avery shakin' it when she says it too.

Hilarious!!!!!! That is too funny! Apparently that's what she thinks female pirates do! ;) When Kayli was smaller we would say "I'm gonna smack you!".....it was totally playful and just something we would say that would make them laugh. One day she repeated it back, and it came out "I'm gonna f--- you!" Yes, it's bad, but we HAD to get it on videotape......it made us totally crack up! The language barrier is too much fun!

What a great story...Avery already knows what female pirates do to get their "booty"....I would "shiver me timbers" if it got me very far!
