Pumpkin Carvin'
We FINALLY carved pumpkins last night.
I know, it was the last possible night to do it, but what can I say?
We've had our hands full.
So we picked out our pumpkins and we let the kids draw their picture.
Ava drew a ghost.
Caiden drew a face.
Blaise drew General Greives.
I drew eyes.
Jason drew a scary yelling pumpkin.
We carved. We laughed. We made a mess.
Caiden's first spoonful out went flying everywhere, that is why the boys shirts are off, he flung pumpkin throw up everywhere.
Avery tried to cut her pumpkin with her pen.
Blaise had a few minor freak outs.
Caiden explained that "I AM NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN!"
Good thing we only do this once a year. By the time next year comes along they will be rip roaring to do it all over again.
It REALLY was a fun night.
Really............I'm not being sarcastic.

HOW FUN ! I JUST LOVE, LOVE EVENINGS WITH YOUR FAMILY, THE FUN, THE LAUGHTER, THE EXPRESSIONS, THE COMMENTS, THE FREAK OUTS, THE PATIENCE, THE LOVE. I LOVE IT ALL. YOU GUYS ROCK!
YOU ARE LIKE THE NORMAN ROCKWELL FAMILY FOR THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY.
Avery is so cute, I love that she tried to carve her pumpkin with a pen. I can see Blaise getting upset, but I'm surprised that Caiden got so worked up. Silly boys! How fun. I can't wait to see the finished products in person.
The pictures are so cute!
Now that's a way to carve a pumpkin....pull out the power tools. We just use the flimsy knives in the pumpkin kits. We still haven't carved ours and it's the afternoon of Halloween. Such procrastinators we are :)
haha! I love it! SO cute! It love that they have the powertools out!
Sounds like you guys had a blast. You need to post pictures of the final product!
