Happy Halloween!

Wow! This year Halloween kinda snuck up on me. This was the first year in ALL my years I didn't dress up. I had a cute costume planned out, the Hubster and I were going to be a Stepford couple, I LOVE the Stepford Wives......even if they were robots! But we ran out of time and energy to do it. There's always next year.

Anyhoo, I was in a bah-humbug mood because we didn't get to go all out for Halloween like we normally do, with the fire and then getting sick because of the fire, it just didn't feel quite right. But Halloween night did not dissapoint.

The kids looked Awesome. And they LOVED trick or treating. Ava thinks it's the greatest thing ever. I mean, people kept telling her how cute she was, she got to chat it up with people, AND get candy, it was right up her alley.


Everyone LOVED Blaise's costume. Random trick-or-treaters would come up and tell him how awesome it was. He got his picture taken quite a few times. One may end up in the newspaper.

We took the kids up to Harry Potters too. Some friends of ours go ALL OUT and make their house like Harry Potters. They have the Sorting Hat, they got Griffindor. The served Butter Beer, they had the 9 and 3/4 platform, they had a zipline too for the kids to go on like a Quitich Game, and they had friends and family play the parts of seriously ALL the characters from the Movie. They have done it for 7 years, and it is unbelievable. It was a perfect magical start to the evening.

This is the kids with our good friend, playing Malfoy's Dad, at the Platform. See the owl in the corner. They didn't miss a detail!!! Amazing.



We also stopped by to see my sister and her family. The kids were PUMPED up for the evening. This picture pretty much sums up the night.
