Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
There are a lot of Christmas songs about snow! You can't help but think of snow when it's Christmas time, even if you live in the dessert. The two just go together.
We were watching ELF the other day, and I must say, I LOVED his holiday decorating. I really wanted to hang a TON of snowflakes from the ceiling and make it all Winter-Wonder-Landish, but I lost my steam.
My Mother in Law gave me these hand made snowflakes a few years ago, and I figured they would be PERFECT to use from the ceiling. I LOVE my living room now. They were just the perfect touch. We have magical falling snowflakes coming down all over the place!

And if you don't know what I'm talking about, I highly suggest renting ELF. The decorating that man-child did is inspired!!!
