Let the countdown begin!
Now it may be too late to do these for THIS year, but I think these would make GREAT Christmas presents too. I LOVE giving Christmas decorations to my friends and family as gifts. It's the gift that keeps on giving, year after year.

Last year we started a new tradition that the kids absolutely LOVED. My Mom helped me to come up with it and it keeps the fun going when the kids start getting REALLY anxious.
Last year we started a new tradition that the kids absolutely LOVED. My Mom helped me to come up with it and it keeps the fun going when the kids start getting REALLY anxious.We have "Santa's Elves" come at night and help us get the countdown on. We hear a knock on the door, and when we open the door, there is a gift from the elves, to help us countdown until Santa comes. We start it about 10 days before Christmas and it's a blast!
Last year the elves brought a Sugar Cookie Kit,
They also brought some gloves and hats so we could go to Temple Square.
They brought a book about The Nativity, and another book about Santa.
They brought a movie, and one night they brought some craft things to do.
Every night they would bring us something to do, eat, watch or go do together as a family to Celebrate this most wonderful time of year.
So there ya go, Get your Celebrating on!!!

I haven't had an advent calendar for years, because I could never find one I liked, so thanks for the help, I think I just might be inspired to make one this year.
