Day 5
It's that time of year again!
Time for Christmas parties.
Every year at this time, I wished we had a fancy work Christmas Party to go to. We don't have ANY parties to go to this year. Well, we have our Ward Christmas party, but please! I want a REAL party, one that I have to go buy a dress for!!! To be completely honest, I have never been to a party that you have to dress up to, except for Halloween.
Well...........One year, before I was married, my best friend was hired to be a hostess at a Christmas party, and she needed another hostess. It was the best gig we ever had. The guy that threw the party took Jamie and I shopping and bought us little tiny black cocktail dresses, and matching hooker shoes. I LOVED those shoes. I wonder what I did with them? Anyways, not only did we get way cute clothes, on his dime, but he also paid us to walk around his party and look pretty. There was yummy food, a fortune teller, and a character-drawer-guy! Why haven't I been invited to another party like that? Maybe, one day, I will host a party like that, then I will have to buy a pretty dress!
So in any case, I'm sure some of you are living it up, and if not, we can all dream together!

So, since we are self employed, and Jason and I are the only ones that work for us, THIS is what I will be wearing for our Work Christmas party.

Come on Heather, you know you TOTALLY want to wear that last one to an actual work party! HA! Actually it's about the same length as the ones that were bought for us for the hostessing gig!!!! ;) hee hee That was a VERY fun night! MEMORIES.........

By the way, thanks for the tip on where to go to get my Christmas party outfit. I think I'm going to make you my own personal shopper. You're much better at it than I am.
I wished I liked dressing up. I have a fancy work party to go to, but no fancy dress to wear. I've been debating wearing on old bridesmaid dress so I don't have to go find something. But you gave me lots of cute ideas. I REALLY love that red one. SO cute!
