Giddy
I just wanted to write down a few things that are making me giddy today.
* I am just so proud and GIDDY over Blaise. He had a playoff game on Wednesday for soccer, and they won!!! They already lost to this team, so he was so excited that they won this time. It was a NAIL BITER!!! They won by one point, and it was like the Super Bowl. It was so loud in the stadium with everyone cheering. The coach on the other team was SO upset at one point, that I thought he may spontaneously explode!!! Blaise made the first goal of the game, in the first minute. Then he made the second goal! He made one other goal, and 2 assists. The final score was 8-7. Phew!! We are so proud of you Blaise! His next indoor season starts next week. Awwww, the joys of competitive soccer! No breaks!
* We finally got Avery in to the doctor about her tummy. And in comes the doctor that stitched up and saved the hubby's arm when he chopped sawed it in February. He was so excited to see Jason's scar was healing nicely. Anyhoo, I am so GIDDY because it looks like poor Avery might finally have some relief for her tummy woes. He put her on a special diet and gave her some medication to strengthen her bowels. I can't wait for the day when Avery doesn't cry about her tummy. THAT will be a Giddy day!
* I am so GIDDY about Christmas. This year I am so not stressed. I decided to relax and ENJOY the holidays, and it's a welcome change. I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. Like for real. YAY!! And everything that I've already got is already wrapped and under the tree, so there will be no late night wrapping sessions the night before Christmas. I am actually enjoying my tree, my fireplace, Christmas movies, crafting with the kids, baking just because we want a treat, and hot chocolate. What a Wonderful Life!
* I am so GIDDY GIDDY GIDDY about my New Years Resolutions. I'm already thinking of them, and they make me happy. This last year has been a doozy, to say the least, and I'm ready to be hopeful again, and a New Year brings hope. I'm so excited to go full out with my photography and design business, I'm so Giddy about it that sometimes I just can't help but squeal like a piglet.
* I am GIDDY that our week long trip to Disney is coming up faster and faster. We need a vacation and what's better than losing yourself for a few days in Fantasy Land?
* I am SO GIDDY about the Doll House that the Hubster and I are building for Ava. It is turning out to be DARLING!!! I am so grateful I married a handy man!!! And don't worry, he is being VERY careful with the chop-saw! Hee Hee (Poor guy, he will NEVER live that down. It doesn't matter that he uses those things ALL the time for the past 17 years, it just takes one mistake, and your perfect record is tarnished!) I'll post pictures soon. I'm so in love with it, and I can't WAIT to see her face when she see's it.
* I am so GIDDY about the present we thought of for Blaise. We found him a little Digital Video Recorder. How cool will that be? He will love recording him and his friends sledding, having a light saber fight, skateboarding, biking, skiing, ...........I so can't wait to see what he thinks of it. Then he can upload it to the computer and add music and make his very own little movies. He didn't ask for it, (don't worry, we got him what he DID ask for) but I think he will be blown away by it. How fun, huh?
So,............What makes you GIDDY today?

You really do need to dive into your design and photography business. You are so talented and I love looking at your photos. Can't wait to see pics of the doll house. What a fun gift.
Heather, you inspire me. We need to hang for a week so I can pick up some of your craftiness. I mean, enough is enough. Your family pics are gorgeous! Lilly and Avery need to get together and play. They would be buds.
I am giddy that I finally have time to read my favorite blogs...like yours!
I am giddy that I have such great in-laws. Yes, you read that correctly. We had Christmas early this year and they went ALL out. And I don't mean with the presents. We had dinner and then a nativity and then a talent-show-and-tell. After that Santa stopped by and we opened presents and then we had dessert. It was so much fun and the gifts were so heart-felt. I'm just about to post some pictures on my blog. You'll have to check them out.
I love that you use "giddy". Love it!
I am giddy over my boys right now. They are both in such fun stages. My 6 month old is super fun and my almost 3 yr old (dec. 29) is such a little man and really coming into himself. Giddy!!! Just plain giddy!!
