Um..........
you have GOT to be kidding me!
A few months back I got a new computer. We bought a 27 inch LCD flat screen to go with it. I thought it would be PERFECT for editing pictures. I was loving it.
Until.............
I sent in an order to my lab for a client, and I got them back and they were REALLY dark. I was seriously ready to call up my lab and throw a major fit. But I didn't have time for that, my client was waiting. So I sent the pictures in to a local lab, and was just going to wait until Monday to let my lab hear an earful..................I went and picked up the pictures at my local lab, and they were the same darkness.
This is when the yelling, the screaming and the crying came in.
So I went to my kids computer, because I have sent in pics from that computer, and they came back the same way I edited them. I looked at my gallery, and UGHHH!!! My pictures from my last three shoots that I edited on my new screen were TOO dark.
Apperently this new fancy schmancy screen is more like a laptop screen, not a TRUE screen, not one that is calibrated the same as my lab, or my local lab.
So now I am mortified. What if my clients looked at their pictures on a regular screen, not an LCD or laptop screen? They will think their pictures are horrible. Every picture I edited on this screen shows up on a "true" screen too dark! And not only that, I have to now configure THIS screen to look like a "calibrated" screen, so that when I edit them, they print true.
Which means my last 3 shoots need to ALL be re-edited!
Which means, there goes my nice, relaxing, enjoyable Christmas season.
Which means, no GIDDY list for awhile.
Which means, I have paid to have these photo's printed TWICE, only to have to re-edit them, and print them AGAIN!!! There goes my profit margin!
Which means I threw a tantrum like my darling little Ava.
Which means, I'm quite pathetic!
So, I'll be up all night on the computer re-editing over 200 pictures, so if any of you all are up, or have any hints on how to not have to do that, or just want to throw a tantrum with me, leave me a comment. I'm sure by like midnight tonight though, you will not be wanting to talk with me, because I WILL be having a MAJOR cuss-fest!

Aw, man! That is stinky with a capital STINK!!
Wish I could help out somehow...sending you calm, patient vibes...stop occasionally for a good cup o' cocoa.
That sounds very frustrating!
From your Mother;
Awwww, cutie girl I'm soooo sorry, Wish I could do something to help. Oh yeah, let us know when it is safe to come out of our rooms. :)
Love ya,
From your Father; a.k.a. the KING of cuss fest's.
(With a weird hint of pride)
just like your old man. It does make you feel better to have a cuss fest and get it all out though.
Love ya,
Oh, major suck-fest! That is horrible!
I'm glad you figured it out now, rather than 10 shoots in (look at me being positive...make a note of it, because it doesn't happen often).
MAJOR pain. Why do those days always seem to happen around the holidays?
