My Mom made this ADORABLE coat and hat for Ava, and it has quickly become one of her favorite things to wear. She calls it, appropriately, her "move it" coat. She is such a diva. Doesn't she look so "up-town?" I love it! I love her!!!
My Mom made my sister and I clothes all growing up, and I'm glad she has the sewing bug again, because Ava can reap the rewards!! She has also taught me the ways of the sewing machine and I have been working on a few creations, that I will show you soon.
(Sorry about the lack of her "super-model-ness" she would not turn to look at me to get a good front view, she had better things to do, like watch the garbage man take the trash away. She may look high-class, but she is all white trash, just like her Mama!!!)
I am trying to get my Mom to open up an Etsy shop. Who wouldn't LOVE one of these coats for their little princess?? She is making a Zebra one right now to give to my niece, so she will have a "move it" coat too! So come on, give my Mom some love. She SO out did herself on this little cutsie!!!

I LOVE this ensemble. I can't believe how adorable it turned out, Mom is so talented! I completely agree that she should open an Etsy shop (now that I know what they are). What little girl wouldn't look & feel fabulous wearing one of these?

Your Mom soooo needs to open an Etsy shop!! I love the coat!! My mom tried to teach me to sew, but I was NOT interested! Now, I have my own machine and wish I would have listened!!!!

ps...mom's actual quote when I chose to take Theater instead of Home Ec (sewing and cooking) in school...."NO ONE WILL marry you if you can't cook or sew"! Well....mom, you were wrong I have managed to wrangle not just one man but two men into marrying me! ha!!! (noo..not at the same time....no worries)

Oh, just noticed your weekly menu--I love seeing the menu ideas of others. This week has been a light week for us-husband out of town 1 night, boys night one night. Would you believe that I have dinner ready in the fridge for tomorrow night? Yipee, I fixed it last night and freezed extra!
My sister is sooo talented! I want one for me! Only I'm not so "etsy", mine would have to be out of cow print he he he! Love the coat, but especially love what's wearing it! She is sooo beautiful, a real diva!
