New things!
So besides my New Year's Goal of focusing more on family. I had a few personal ones too.
One of which was to make my blog a little funner to visit. If you haven't noticed yet, I put up my weekly menu planner on my sidebar. I LOVE seeing what other gals are making for dinner. In fact, if you know me in real life, I have probably asked you "so what are some things you make for dinner?" So I figured since I love knowing what others are eating, maybe y'all would too.
Also on my sidebar is a picture of my latest and greatest over at my Tippy Toes Photography and Design blog. I am really excited about this new year with my little business and have lots of plans and fun things I want to do, so take a looksie.
I practiced an indoor shoot today with Ava. It was very last minute and just kinda pulled together, but I mainly just wanted to work with indoor natural light. Not so much a friend of mine, but I have been reading up on some techniques, so I needed to try them out. That is why I love photography so much. Always more to learn!

Isn't she so pretty? She makes taking pictures easy.
Oh ya!~ -So, what are you making for dinner tonight?

I love that there's always something more to learn with photography, just like life!
She is GORGEOUS!! I love the way the pictures look!
Your dinner menu is great....now you just need to post the recipes. It all sounds delicious!
i love your new look and the photos are beautiful!
The photos turned out great! Shooting indoors is so difficult.
I'm not cooking anything tonight. But last night I cooked a chicken pot pie...easy peasy and super yummy.
I love your menu planner.. have you thought about linking us up some recipes? that stuff sounds good!!
tonight i'm making ribs and mashed potatoes.. they are actually in the crock pot right now...
Let's see for dinner tonight? Not so sure...probably eat out.
Now that cutie...oh she is so adorable!
Love to see some of the recipes with your menu planner...I need some new ideas for my family.
Also what kind of camera do you use? I am in the market for a new one.
Wow, she is beautiful, and those pictures turned out amazingly well!
Looks like you are doing great with the natural light! Photos are awesome.
I am making Poppyseed Chicken-or did I already tell you that! Have a great dinner!
New little bloggie follower.. Luuurrvve your blog! Your photography is crisp! And of course your family is beautiful!
Thanks everyone! I will try to add some recipes to some of our meals. Some of what we eat sounds so yummy, but I MUST admit, it isn't homemade. The steak tips in bourbon sauce is a pre-packaged dish. It was buy one get one free at Albertson's so I thought we would try it. It was YUMMY!!!
Also, as for the picture questions. I use a canon 30D. I would love to upgrade to a 5d, but my budget is SO not that friendly right now. I used a portraiture lens for these shots, my 1.8, and then I opened up all my windows.
