52Q
So I found this LOVELY little project to do. It's called 52Q, hosted by Emily.
She asks a question a week, for you to ponder, reflect on, and to be inspired by. Then you get to use your creative self to journal your thoughts. I saw this idea and instantly loved it, but then my practical side kept telling me I didn't have time, or what would I ever do with the project when it was done..........yada, yada, yada.
But my creative side won! YEAH!!! I am happiest when I let my self create. When I let myself be true to me. Because honestly, doing dishes and laundry...........it's not my true self! So this was a must for me. I don't know what I'll do with it when I'm done, but it's the journey that I'm excited about.
I am journaling mine on 3x5 index cards. And I gotta tell you, it was SO fun sitting down yesterday with a cup of hot chocolate, some fun music on, and my gal (avery) for an afternoon of crafting. It is just what I needed! I am mainly a digi girl, so it was fun to dig into my stash and use my hands, and glue, and scissors!!!
I highly recommend y'all to try it with me. It will put a smile on your face.
O'ya, I added a craft peek-a-roo on my side bar too, so y'all can keep up with my latest projects. Let me know what you are working on too! I'm always on the prowl for good ideas!
*well, my little sidebar peek-a-roo isn't working right now, but I'll keep working on it!

I love this idea!! I think I am going to start this today!! I think i am going to use index cards but i love the deck of cards idea that she had on her website.. but i dont have any pretty ones.. maybe next year!!!

And YES, it was Poison. Is it bad that THAT is one of my FAVORITE songs?? And that my kids rock out to it with me?? Hahaha! (Mitch was singing "Cherry Pie" the other night when we were at dinner with Greg & Marcia & Jennifer and Jen was like "Is he singing what I think he's singing??" Yes he is. We listen to AND LOVE such smut in my house! =)
