Hot Mess

Yep, that's me! I'm a hot mess lately!

Schools out for summer and it's been CrAzY around here! I feel like a chicken running around without my head.

I took the kids to the Summer Movie Program today, the movie was "Evan Almighty."

I seriously had tears and goosebumps almost the entire show. What is wrong with me? I have seen it before too! It was really getting to me! I wanted to stand up at the end of the movie and cheer. I really do worry about myself sometimes!

And then today we got a brief little rain storm and when it was over Ava started SCREAMING for joy, and jumping up and down and was yelling for everyone to look. She found a GIANT rainbow and she was SO SO SO excited about it. THAT made me cry too. She asked what was wrong and I told her I was just happy, and then she rubbed my cheeks and asked, "Are you happy that Weavenly Fadder gave us a rainbow?"

Yep, the tears started flowing again!

I tell ya---mamas and our tears!!! The first thing my three year old asked me this morning was, "How was your Bible Study last night, Mama?"
Wow, that hit me!!

So cute! Kids say such cute things. My friend's two and a half year old will sit down with you, look you straight in the face and say, "How was your day?" Darling.

I love that movie too. I've come to embrace the fact that I'm a crybaby...although I do still get embarrassed about it. I'm a total baby! =)

Pregnant maybe? :)

So sweet, too cute.

Just embrace the tears, the raw emotions, the hotness, it's like being on a roller coaster ride. Besides being a sensitive person anyway, and a mother who has absolutely adorable children that say sweet and precious things that tug at the heart, now throw in hormones, well, you just can't fight it. So buckle up and enjoy the ride.

I have to say selfishly that I like not being the only big "cry baby" in the family! :)

I'm just past the denial phase about crying in movies. I haven't come to embrace it quite yet, but now I'll admit it when I do.

Weavenly Fadder blessed you wish such an insightful little girl. Too cute.

Hey, with the year that you've had already, you are allowed to be a cry baby sometimes!!!! I would have lost it if she had said that to me too! But, just remember you have LOTS of rainbows in your life right now. Ava is one smart cookie! LOVE you!

I've turned into a big mushy cry baby since having children too. "weavenly fadder" brought tears to my eyes too.
