My "to do" list

Lately it seems like my "to do" list is getting longer and longer. With hubby still recovering from surgery and moving into a new house, I have had to add a lot to my plate.
I've been pretty good about keeping a good attitude and not letting it drag me down. Like when I had to replace a battery in Jason's work van, because he couldn't lift the battery, I didn't care that it was 10o'clock at night, my kids STILL had not eaten dinner and I was wearing a skirt and heels. I actually kind of had fun when I went to his job sites and bossed around his employees and had to show them how to REALLY paint trim. It was hard work demolishing three walls in a restaurant, but someone had to do it, because our employees are pretty much useless. When Jason was having me hook up our satellite and he told me I had to test each line with my tongue to see which one was hot, I only got slightly annoyed at him because of the shock it gave me. I built bookshelves, and they are still standing. I dried out our basement when I flooded it when I tried to run the sprinkler system. I only killed one of our sharks when I moved our huge 50 gallon tank over to the new house. When I drove down to Salt Lake with the kids, to pick up a lawn mower, I only looked SEMI ridiculous trying to fit it in the back of the SUV. Lawn mowers are heavy!! I set up the boys bunk beds and they haven't fallen down yet. I went to Lowe's and bought screw's AND had wood cut for Avery's new bed so her mattress' wouldn't fall through. I actually LOVE taking care of the Hubby. He is a very good patient. Except for his oatmeal,.........apparently I don't' make it right. Whatever.
And all of this I have managed to keep a smile on my face. Even if at times it was fake.
Yep, my list keeps getting longer and longer. And I thought life would start to settle down, it's been 2 weeks since surgery (that story to come) we have been at the new house for about 3 weeks now (even though it's still not put together) and the boys have started school. (pictures soon.) But I was wrong. I STILL have a long to do list. And it's finally starting to get to me.
So today instead of stressing about my long to-do list,.........get picture proofs for client, grocery shopping, help at boys school, get new ballet shoes for dance on Friday, try to unpack a little more, mow the lawn, soccer meeting, take Jason to surgeon, yadda yadda yadda...............I am only going to worry about ONE thing on my to do list,........
LOVING MY FAMILY.
They are what makes my crazy life sane!
(these pictures were taken over a month ago. Before the move, before the surgery. We went up to Alta one Sunday afternoon and it was perfect.)

Gorgeous shots. Love the location. We need to figure out how to sneak in more hours in the day. That or be rich enough to hire a personal assistant!
You really have a beautiful family.
