Pumpkin Patch Tantrum

True Story.
Once upon a time, there was a little family, who decided to wait til the last minute to visit the pumpkin patch. This little family had the best of intentions this Halloween season, but things just kept getting in the way.

So one day, this happy little family decided it was now or never, so they bundled up, and left. The Mom of this little family was extra cranky, because it just wasn't what she wanted. It was cold, first off. Happy little family Mom doesn't like to be cold. No one wanted to dress up cute, and Happy little family Mom wanted to get pictures, you know, so she could prove to the world how happy her little family was. Happy little family Mom envisioned a cute family picture with a huge pile of pumpkins piled behind them, cute pictures of the boys feeding the donkeys, a beautiful picture of Happy little family Mom and Dad kissing in the sunset with the kids happily playing behind them, an adorable picture of Happy little family daughter laughing as she ran through the corn field.

When this Happy little family got to the Pumpkin Patch, everyone ran different ways, no one wanted to sit and "pose" happily for a picture. Happy little family Mom was getting a bit annoyed with Happy little family Dad, because he wasn't helping any. He encouraged the children to run around and have fun. The nerve!!!

So Happy little family Mom started to throw a bit of a tantrum. She wasn't getting her way, and it was her way or no way. Or so she thought it should be. After watching the rest of her happy little family play, she decided to put the camera in the car and join them. They went up and down the slides like a million times, they jumped in the bounce house, they tried to get lost in the corn maze, they shot paint balls, went on a tractor pull ride, climbed hay stacks, played in the barn band, sat by the bon fire, fed some farm animals, rode a tire bull, and laughed so hard they almost forgot how cold it was.

And the Happy little Mom didn't get many pictures. She's still a bit bitter over it, but she'll get over it, because, after all, she IS Happy little family Mom.


And they lived happily ever after.

Now, please, am I, er,.......I mean, "happy little family Mom" the only one that throws temper tantrums at pumpkin patches?
