Perfect

Soccer has consumed my life.

The funny thing is, I actually like it!
I find the game to be so exciting now, and before, I would rather do almost anything than watch a soccer game. I watched 3 soccer games on t.v. this weekend! Crazy, I know! But it was fun!

With Blaise being in a competitive soccer league, I don't get to do much else besides eat, sleep and drink soccer.

Last Wednesday was Blaise's last game of the fall season. He starts Futsol (indoor soccer played on a basketball court) this Friday. Ya, we got a week off and he is going crazy to get back out and play again! He even put together a "spooky soccer" game on Saturday at the park, just so he could play. My boys live for soccer.

This fall season consisted of 8 games. Blaise made at least one goal a game. He made 15 goals total. He has the best average in his age group. He was the only boy to score EVERY SINGLE GAME!!! He had a perfect season!

Wednesday he was feeling the pressure. He didn't score until well into the second half. Then he made 2 goals and one assist. He was making me nervous, but he did it with such ease. I love how when he runs the ball up he has the biggest smile on his face cuz he knows they can't catch him. I love how after he scores he shoots both hands up in the air and runs back to center line to get tackled by his team with hugs, high fives and piggy backs!!

Blaise's coach called us and told us that another team was invited to play in a big soccer tournament in St. George, and they wanted to invite Blaise to go with them as a guest player. Blaise was THRILLED that he is "known" enough for other teams to invite him to play with them.

(Blaise making his goal to make it a PERFECT season!)
So there you have it. This Thanksgiving we will be taking Blaise down to his first BIG tournament. He feels like he's in the big leagues now that he gets to travel, and get hotel rooms, and people know his name. He cracks me up! I love seeing him so excited about something!!

I love our guy. He is not only an awesome soccer player, but he is just an awesome kid. I can't wait to get back up there and see him in action again, love watching the boy play. I for sure want to go to St. George for the tournament too. High Five Blaise for a PERFECT season. Big hug and high five from Bama.
