The Elves

Three years ago the Elves started coming to our house for the Twelve Days of Christmas. It's such a fun tradition, and it really sets the magic for the season.

The Elves put together a fun little gift, treat or activity and leave it on the doorstep and then run their little elf feet as fast as they can so we don't catch them.

I tell ya, those elve's are sneaky. The boys kept trying to catch one on the doorstep, and they never did! Luckily!

They start 12 days before Christmas, and come every night. Then on Christmas Eve they bring us our last surprise and tell us that Santa has something very exciting for us. Then Santa comes, and there ya go, we are lucky enough to celebrate 12 days of magic!

Day 1- The Elves brought us a new tradition. They brought us a scrapbook and lots of Chrismas paper, and stickers, and embellishments and markers so that we could have a Christmas coffee table book. The idea is to srapbook every Christmas we have had together, (this family has had 12) and to bring the book out every Christmas so we can look through it and go through Christmas pasts. I'm SO SO SO excited to start doing this!
Day 2- The elves brought some yummy hot chocolate!
Day 3 - The elves brought some Christmas coloring books and activity books.
Day 4 - The elves brought some chocolate candy!
Day 5 - The elves brought P.J.'s.
Day 6 - The elves brought us doughnuts for breakfast!
Day 7 - The elves brought us some games to play.
Day 8- The elves brought us a gingerbread house kit!
Day 9 - The elves brought some toys for us to play with!
Day 10 - The elves brought us a movie and a movie blanket.
Day 11 - The elves brought us this year's Christmas book.
Day 12 - SANTA came!!!!
