Keepin' Up.

I sat down to blog last night and ended up spending all night reading past posts. I love doing that.

I realized though that I haven't been doing a good job recently of documenting what we've been up to.

Here's a quick catch up.

* Blaise is tied for second right now for indoor soccer. He has 15 points for the last 5 games. 10 goals, and 5 assists. Some of the kids on his team have started giving him a bit of attitude because he is always named team captain by his coach, and he is usually the play maker of the game. He has even been called a ball hog by two of the players. It really upset him, he is so sensitive. But I quickly pointed out that there is NO way he is a ball hog, he has the most assists in his league. Does a ball hog EVER pass the ball to someone else to make the goal? I think not. This made him happier, and he is trying to work with those two boys so that they feel like they have the ball more. I love that instead of blaming the other boys he is trying to help them.

* I am the new "enrichment leader" for our ward. I planned the big Relief Society Birthday dinner for March. It was so fun. We did a Mad Hatter's theme. I had HUGE tissue paper pom-pom's, HUGE wrapped boxed presents, black and silver confetti, and tea cups set up everywhere. The week before I made white chocolate bunnies and passed them out the ladies with an invitaion that said: "don't be late!" It was a lot of work, but everyone had a blast,...........even though I wasn't there to enjoy it!

* I wasn't there because Jason and I went to see Shen Yen. It was AMAZING! We were invited by some clients of Jason's and I have to say, it brought a tear or two to my eyes. I have never been to something like that!

* This month we celebrated our 10 year Temple anniversary. We usually celebrate this anniversary as a family, since we were sealed as a family forever on this day. We went out to lunch and then to a movie. The kids love that they get an extra day a year to celebrate something!

* My parents came up for a week at the beginning of the month and we had so much fun together. We went up to lunch at Snow Basin one day, we went bowling another day, watched a movie and played Wii one night, went race car driving one day, we even pulled the kids out of school for a day so that we could have fun. I have pictures that I need to post.

* We took the kids to see How To Train Your Dragon 3D over the weekend. I LOVED IT! It is my new favorite movie.

* I found out that my insurance will not pay for my treatments anymore. It is almost $1000 a month, and they covered it a few months ago, but they said now that "everything is changing" they won't cover it right now. I gotta say, I am LOVING this new Health Bill that my government is forcing on me. (Insert sarcastic tone!) So now I gotta figure out a way to pay for it on my own now. That shouldn't be difficult!

* The Hubby started school this month. I am very proud of him, but a little jealous too, because now instead of watching t.v. with me at night, he is doing his on-line classes. I tell ya, it's hard to be me.

* I am sure there are a few things I have missed, but for now, that is all I can think of!
